Re: Can't open pro tools 2019 on Catalina

2020-04-05 Thread Rory
Alright so updating to 2020.3 seems to have fixed it for me. Steve if its still
not updating for you, make sure flo tools is updated and check to see if there
are any system dialogues with VO F1 twice quickly that may prevent it from
opening.

Is this just a matter of needing to update to Pro tools 2020.3?

I would check to see that there isn't a dialog in the background asking for
some sort of security access. Catalina is notoriously compartmental about
permissions.

The same thing happened to me, I was told I needed to update to ProTools 2020.3
After I ordered ProTools 2020.3, I’m still having the same issue.
Let me know what you do to resolve the issue?

Can't open pro tools 2019 on Catalina

2020-04-04 Thread Rory
Hey all,
I've just updated to Catalina and I can now no longer open pro tools. When I
try it just sits there for a while. I opened the force quit window and sure
enough it was not responding. I tried this a few times with no luck.
Is this just a matter of needing to update to Pro tools 2020.3?
Thanks,

Rory
