Re: Final Ravenscroft Update
Hi Brian, Although the parameters are mapped to the host automation, the names of those parameters still show up as generic names. For now, press the Automation Enable button in the Plug-In window and interact with the first text area. There, you'll see the list of parameters which will correspond to the elements in the effects view. So, if you want to change a specific parameter, make a note of which parameter it is in the list and go to the corresponding slot in the effects view. Final Ravenscroft Update
Hello all, So I am able to see the ravens croft presets within the UVI workstation plug, and I loaded the ravens croft multi preset, but the parameters are not making sense. Looks like they are numbers, and after the value is spoken, voiceover says host automation and then another number such as 2 3 4 etc. Is there a list of what those parameters are within the multi preset? Thanks for the help, I am getting there! Brian -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Pro Tools Accessibility" group. Re: Ravenscroft Update
Hi Slau, That worked. Now when I am trying to delete the true piano presets from the folder, it is saying that it cannot be completed because the operation is locked. Any suggestions as to why it might be saying that? It tries to move them to the trash but then I get that error message. Re: Ravenscroft Update
Hi Brian, The folder structure in the Plug-In Settings folder within the Drop Box is the same as for your local Plug-In Settings folder. In other words, you can copy an entire folder from the Drop Box version and paste it into your local Plug-In Settings folder and it'll work. Copy the UVI Workstation folder and paste it into Plug-In Settings on your system. Unless you have the True Keys grand pianos from VI Labs, you won't need those so you can delete them if you want. Ravenscroft Update
Guys, Disregard last message. I finally found where it needed to go. Now, my only other question is I am assuming that I would copy the three pro tools ravens croft presets in to my plugin settings folder for PT. Do I need to create any folder within that folder for the ravens croft, and if so what do I need to call it for this to work? I did this once before, but it has been forever. Also, within the UVI workstation folder in dropbox, I see other presets in there, but I am assuming the only ones I need to copy are the multi out preset, the close preset, and the default preset. I seem to remember having to create a UVI workstation folder within my plugin settings folder as I am writing this, is that correct? Thanks guys, help is much appreciated.
