Brian, The problem is that you're clicking on the selector rather than the assignment. Click on the right hand side element and not the left side element. The selector will always pop up a menu. I'm assuming you are routing the vo cursor to the mouse prior to command clicking? does VO announce what's under? Are you command clicking fairly quickly. DO you have a large amount of tracks in your session? Sometimes when this happens to me, I save a preset of what I have in the plug, and switch to no insert and then reinstantiate the plug.
