Yes, that's correct, mine is direct through Avid. What John said in another message makes sense. I think my two-year contract is up, or nearly so, so now I'm on a month-to-month thing. There are two subscriptions paid monthly, an annual subscription paid monthly which is cheaper if I remember correctly, and a straight monthly subscription which is the more expensive option, but can be cancelled at any time. If I remember correctly, when I got my subscription to ProTools; from Sweetwater; I only paid $29.95; with tax being there would end up being $32 and some cents. Now I’m not sure, about avid. I do believe from what I had read on the avid website that they were doing a monthly subscription for $24.95 a month. That might have gone up. I would like to know this as well. I purchase the annual which happens to be usually on sale when I purchase it for about $250 or so. Steve, I am not sure about the monthly subscriptions; myself. I am interested in this as well, I had to stop my monthly subscription because I needed to pay a couple of bills. I need to get back into my monthly subscription to ProTools. Or would it be better to purchase ProTools out rate. And then pay the yearly upgrade cost of the $99 a year? Unless I'm reading my daily account activity wrong, it appears that Pro Tools subscriptions have gone up for 2020 by about 50%. My former price was $24.90-something per month, and for January, 2020, it rose to $37-something.
