Strange. Could you post your ptxconfig file, to let us try to reproduce
your problem?

Strange, I've been using ptx 0.10.6 for arm without a problem. I
have correct symlinks in the root directory. And I think I'm not the
only one.

[ptxdist] Incomplete root directory

2007-04-13 Thread Michael Cashwell
Greetings,

I'm new to PTXDist and am trying to use version 0.10.6 for an ARM
platform on a Red Hat 9 build host. I'm having some trouble with the
resulting root directories.

Busy Box is set to install soft links for all the enabled commands. I
see these links in local/arm-9tdmi-linux-gnu/bin but both root/bin and
root-debug/bin have only busybox itself. No links.

If I've read the docs correctly I'm supposed to use root or root-debug
to NFS-boot my target but lacking the symlinks I don't see that working.

My guess is that some copy step from local/arm-9tdmi-linux-gnu/bin to
both root/bin and root-debug/bin skipped the symlinks.

Possibly related is a Busybox BB_PREFIX of "./_install" which I can't
seem to find anywhere. (Pointing that to root/bin occurred to me but
that seems wrong since the symlinks are in local both root and
root-debug need to be populated.)

Any insights would be appreciated.

-Mike
