Re: Linked Data publishing (LAMP) tool
Hey Dimitris, Graphity Browser has a UI, SPARQL endpoint and supports content negotiation: https://github.com/Graphity/graphity-browser Demo instance here: http://semanticreports.com It does not support data import as of yet, but it works out-of-the-box on SPARQL endpoints, so the researcher could import his/her data into a service like Dydra (http://dydra.com) and then deploy the browser on top of it. There is also LAMP version of Graphity but it does not include the UI: https://github.com/Graphity/graphity-core Martynas graphity.org On Sat, Sep 8, 2012 at 5:49 PM, Dimitris Kontokostas kontokos...@informatik.uni-leipzig.de wrote: Hi, I was wondering what is the simplest (LAMP) tool for someone to publish Linked Data. Re: Linked Data publishing (LAMP) tool
Hi Sebastian, Alvaro and Bernadette, We will certainly add these projects in our list and, if we find some time evaluate them in advance. FYI we also have Ontowiki, which is developed here in Leipzig, works on Apache/PHP and supports either MySQL or Virtuoso DB http://aksw.org/Projects/OntoWiki Best regards, Dimitris On Sun, Sep 9, 2012 at 11:14 AM, Sebastian Schaffert sebastian.schaff...@salzburgresearch.at wrote: Dear Dimitris, Am 08.09.2012 um 16:49 schrieb Dimitris Kontokostas: Hi, I was wondering what is the simplest (LAMP) tool for someone to publish Linked Data. You might also want to have a look at the Linked Media Framework: http://code.google.com/p/lmf/ It is a complete Linked Data publishing solution with a one-click installer, Google Refine integrated (so you can even support the step to convert to RDF), Apache Stanbol integrated (to support in interlinking and content analysis based on Linked Data) and much more. Re: Linked Data publishing (LAMP) tool
Hi Dimitri, You may want to take a look at LODSPeaKr (http://lodspeakr.org). It Is a simple but powerul system that runs in LAMP servers. It doesn't have a GUI, but once the data is loaded into the triple store, the publication is straight forward. I always wanted to have a bundle of LODSPeaKr+fuseki, maybe I could try to do something like that durin this weekend. I'll let you know if I have something Best, Al Alvaro Graves-Fuenzalida Web: http://graves.cl - http://ManzanaMecanica.org Twitter: @alvarograves On Sat, Sep 8, 2012 at 2:17 PM, Alvaro Graves alv...@graves.cl wrote: Hi Dimitri, You may want to take a look at LODSPeaKr (http://lodspeakr.org). Hi Dimitris, I encourage you to look at the Callimachus Project [1]. Callimachus (kəlĭm'əkəs) is a framework for data-driven applications based on Linked Data principles. Callimachus allows Web authors to quickly and easily create semantically-enabled Web applications. There is an explainer video on the project web site. It is a content management system designed specifically for structured content in RDF. The Open Source version ships with Sesame as the triple store. It is used for exactly the scenario you describe and users report that it is very easy to install. Please have a look and feel free to join the discussion group. Kind regards, Bernadette Hyland 3 Round Stones, Inc. Note: 3 Round Stones is a sponsor and active contributor to the Open Source project and also provides commercial support for the data platform, hosted on the cloud.
