[pulseaudio-tickets] [Bug 97769] memfd doesn't work between 64-bit server and 32-bit client
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97769 --- Comment #4 from Ahmed S. Darwish --- This seems to be a bug in pulse iochannel layer + a subtle bug in the kernel's 32-bit socket emulation layer. Please check the fix I've just posted below, which fixes the issue on my side: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/pulseaudio-discuss/2016-November/027159.html Thanks a lot for submitting this critical bug report :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.___ pulseaudio-bugs mailing list pulseaudio-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/pulseaudio-bugs
[pulseaudio-tickets] [Bug 93946] Changing device profile to HDMI is reset to default after monitor goes into powersave
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93946 --- Comment #64 from Tanu Kaskinen --- PulseAudio upstream won't be making any more 8.x releases (unless someone volunteers to do all the work). It's probably better to ask Ubuntu if they'd be willing to backport the patches. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug. [pulseaudio-tickets] [Bug 93946] Changing device profile to HDMI is reset to default after monitor goes into powersave
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93946 --- Comment #63 from Cristian KLEIN --- Could this patch (or functional fix) be backported to PulseAudio 8.0? The current long-term support version of Ubuntu (16.04.1 LTS) has adopted PulseAudio 8.0 and is unlikely to switch to PulseAudio 9.0 per long-term support policy. The current auto-routing experience is sub-optimal for many Ubuntu users (including myself). Thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
