Puppet Version: 6.0.4* *Puppet Server Version: 6.0.1* *OS Name/Version: Centos7*When I get "Error: Could not request certificate: The certificate retrieved from the master does not match the agent's private key...", I use the "puppet ssl clean" as suggested by the error message: {code:java} # puppet ssl cleanNotice: Removed private key /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/ssl/private_keys/dbslave.example.com.pemNotice: Removed public key /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/ssl/public_keys/dbslave.example.com.pemNotice: Removed certificate /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/ssl/certs/dbslave.example.com.pem{code} But then I have to clean the certificate request manually, otherwise I get the same error.{code:java} # rm /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/ssl/certificate_requests/dbslave.example.com.pem{code}*Desired Behavior:*According to the feature request ( PUP-9156) it should be cleaned automatically along with the other files.Puppet configs are all default. I have not overridden any of them.

Right now, when you add --verbose to an invocation of Bolt it will print detailed information about what it's doing, often in the form of JSON objects. Oftentimes, it can be very difficult to make sense of this though since the JSON is printed without line breaks or indentation. That is, not prettified.

When using a lot of local vms or docker nodes it would be nice to be able to name node separately from their url to make it easier to refer to individual nodes and make log messages about those nodes more readable.Workarounds:- For referring to nodes you can create a named subgroup for each node.- For ssh nodes you can accomplish this naming in ssh config.Solution:- Add a new "uri" {{alias}} option to targets in inventory .- When specified that accepts a string matching the URI will be passed to the inventory object as the first argument and the name passed in options group/environment regex .- If no name was specified $target.name should return the uri otherwise it should return the name.- {{get_targets( )}} and {{get_targets(< name > )}} should both return the target by name . - target should be able to be referenced \ from other groups by name or the alias - inventory validation should fail if there is any conflict between aliases and names- if alias is an array the node should be referenceable by any entry. {noformat}---groups: - name: group1nodes: - mytargetconfig: - transport: ssh - name : group2nodes: - name alias : mytarget uri name : localhost:2002{noformat} Problem: - It would be better if name defaulted to URI rather then having URI default to name. this would allow a target to be specified with host/port outside of of the URI.
