It's true that the cache files are not consulted if there is no TTL for them in the configuration file, so I don't think this is a huge deal but it'd be nice to fix next time we roll back to facter improvements. I noticed that this doesn't remove the cached fact from the cache dir. I suppose it's OK if the cache file isn't consulted, but it's confusing to have a file in the cachedir that isn't actually valid. Suggested Solution Any cached fact groups that don't currently have a TTL set in facter.conf should be removed from the cachedir. However, we'd want to make sure that running with --no-cache ( not sure if that's the exact setting ) doesn't clear it out. Add Comment
