We're waiting on product to weigh in on this, to see which direction we should go. See the munging here: https://github.com/puppetlabs/pe-puppetdashboard/blob/3.7.x/app/models/report.rb#L193-L197 Since we have the ‘ensure-statuses’ function that automatically populates report_statuses table, this should be all we need for this to work. In the docs we reference the Puppet report format for the ‘status’ field for reports, however this is outside of the Puppet standard. So we’ll need to do something about this.
