We now support monitoring PDB with New Relic. New Relic reaches inside PDB and alters the ActiveMQ messages that PDB uses internally. We had strict validation on what the headers of those messages can contain (we are the only producers and consumers of those messages). Russell Mull relaxed that validation so that they must contain our headers, but can contain other things as well. Wyatt/Ryan if you are in favor of this can you officially let me know if you are requesting it to be in the Z, and then I can get it in front of the Z release leads for approval. Last date for a PDB release for Flanders is the 24th; no approval required for Flanders. Let me know how you want to proceed. You are correct, Everett is out of the question at this point. So your options are: 2016.4.2 in Feb to get into the LTS, if it is in fact a critical bug. The PuppetDB release for Everett is PDB 4.2.4 which was released yesterday. We were told the Everett deadline for PDB was 10/21 by the Everett release team. We weren't able to make that date, so we shipped yesterday. Has there been more changes to the Z release policy? This doesn't appear to meet our criteria for a Z release. PuppetDB 4.3.0 only uses ActiveMQ to migrate from older PDB to the new version. Since it's not using ActiveMQ, it wouldn't have this problem. We are currently targeting a FOSS release for 4.3.0 next week. when PDB is run with the newrelic agent (supplied via java args). Instead of nailing down the exact schema we should just require the appropriate minimal set of keys/headers.
