See the release notes at: http://docs.puppetlabs.com/puppet/latest/reference/ You can download the latest puppet-agent version here: https://downloads.puppetlabs.com/windows/puppet-agent-x64-latest.msi. Note puppet-agent does not include mcollective plugins, but you can use puppet to bootstrap mcollective plugins and mcollective configuration. While there's room for improvement, it was configurable. Getting it in the MSIs would be a great first step. I'm willing to help test. Puppet kick is both deprecated and not supported on Windows, and the recommended solution is to use mcollective. Unfortunately, mcollective is not part of the open source MSI, and attempting to make that work, even with third party MSIs, is a great deal of labor - especially if you want the mcollective puppet agent to work. Can you please consider providing open source MSIs that install Puppet and Mcollective that will allow a simple installation of a functional Mcollective Puppet plugin? This seems like an opportunity to both distinguish Puppet from its competition and improve the adoption of mcollective. Add Comment
