Josh Cooper should this ticket have the 5.0.0 fix version?

Due to PUP-5146, we cannot run automated CI on 10.11 yet. But we can install on 10.11 now that

PUP-4714
 is resolved.
Installed 10.11 using beaker:

bundle exec rake ci:test:aio SHA=7a9bb179ac6d8560eaeae4bead9cba59d6126991 SUITE_VERSION=1.2.6.331.g7a9bb17 CONFIG=config/nodes/osx-1011-x86_64.yaml

Verified the ssh_known_hosts file is initially empty:

bm2fmnzhdl44mb6:~ root# cat /etc/ssh/ssh_known_hosts

cat: /etc/ssh/ssh_known_hosts: No such file or directory

Applied a manifest without specifying the target:

bm2fmnzhdl44mb6:~ root# cat manifest.pp

sshkey { 'github':

  ensure => present,

Moving this to "Needs Information" to indicate that we can't test from packages until that's resolved.

I was unable to test this. El Capitan comes with the /System unwritable, enforced with file attributes which cannot be changed. This issue has been reported as PUP-4714.

Release Notes Summary:

 In OSX 10.11, the ssh_known_hosts file is in /etc/ssh, whereas it's in /etc in older OSX versions. This fix allows puppet to manage the file on 10.11, while continuing to manage the file at the previous location on 10.9 and 10.10.

I'm using exported resources to manage the ssh_known_hosts file on a mixed network of Mac OS X and RHEL systems. Previously, Mac OS X stored SSH files at the top level of /etc/, so the previous default target value of /etc/ssh_known_hosts was correct.
