This is magical, and causes creepy soft failures if you make a typo in ensure (e.g. ensure => directort causes a symlink to Mars). PUP-2149 covers deprecating this behavior; this ticket is for actually removing it, circa Puppet 5. It must be done on a major version boundary. Add Comment
