Jira (PUP-5266) Option to disable relative references
Title: Message Title Daniel Parks commented on PUP-5266 Re: Option to disable relative references We're not on 3.8, yet. I checked in 3.8.1 with future parser, and the absolute path is required. Hooray! Looks like I'm just too out of date. I'll let you close this, since I don't know your workflow. Jira (PUP-5266) Option to disable relative references
Title: Message Title Daniel Parks created an issue Puppet / PUP-5266 Option to disable relative references Issue Type: New Feature Assignee: Unassigned Components: Language Created: 2015/09/18 4:30 PM Priority: Normal Reporter: Daniel Parks Occasionally we run into mysterious bugs that turn out to be because someone failed to include a leading :: and there's a module that matches relatively. It would be awesome to just be able to turn off all relative references. It would be really nice if it worked by just interpreting all references as absolute. For example: class profile::php { include php }

Title: Message Title Henrik Lindberg commented on PUP-5266 Re: Option to disable relative references IIRC that is what 3.x with parser future and 4.x does - all references are absolute. Have you observed the non wanted behavior on 3.8.x with future parser or on 4.x ?
