We weren't sure how/if this would affect the direct puppet stuff, but decided the behavior made sense anyway. Unfortunately because of the way we process the `--test` flag, there is no way to override its settings right now (some day I'd like to fix that to make it possible to override them from the command line). How do you recommend updating those tests to achieve the same effect? I guess I can just grab all of the test flags except --no-usecacheonfailure. Say you run an orchestration job (or mcollective/dssh for that matter) but have node failures or unexpected results. The best way to obtain tighter feedback is to log onto the problem node and interactively run puppet agent -t. Yes, of course, the customer will get new catalogs. That's implied by the dormant ignorecache option that doesn't do anything today anyway.
