Re: [Pws] Swiki ask by username:password several times but referencing another swiki in the same server

Thanks by your response and time Jochen.

By your words (sorry by my bad English) I can assume that you can
reproduce the problem?

Cheers.

I've investigated this and can't seem to find the bug. When swiki asks
for authentication, it includes a realm of /swiki1/*. The browser is then
supposed to know that the authentication only applies to that swiki. I'll
try to investigate it further, but currently I can't find the problem.

 Peace and Luck!

Yes, they are enabled in all cases.

This problem is becoming really a mess with all my users.

Are you sure that cookies are allowed for these browsers?

I've tried in Windows XP but with different browsers (Firefox and
Internet Explorer) and in both I've the same problem. By that I think
that may be a swiki problem more than a browser problem.

I find this with Mac OS X Safari, but not with Windows XP Internet
Explorer. That makes me think that this is a browser issue. My
suspicion is that the browser is remembering the server and
associating authentication with it, but not remembering the server
with the path, and thus, not recognizing that not all paths on the
  same server require authentication.
