[pygtk] pygtk 2.12.1-3 broken on windows?

2009-05-03 Thread Andi Albrecht
Hi all,

I've installed pygtk 2.12.1-3 (Python 2.5) on my Windows system and it
seems to be broken somehow. When I start my application it fails with

AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'recent_manager_get_default'

pygtk 2.12.1-2 works fine.

Can anyone confirm if that's a bug with the 2.12.1-3 version?

Regards,

Andi

Oops, Sorry for my poor english.

Anyway, we should hurry up.
Lots of friends asked me about that windows binary file.

You appear to have misunderstood the part where the PyGtk maintainer
asked for help generating windows binaries.

Hi All,

Yes, we do need a windows binary version for PyGTK.
'Cause we call that cross-platform, right? It should't be that difficult to
fire up a PyGTK based program on Windows.

Guys, Come on!
Huge thanks.

Unfortunately after a fight of a few days I've been unable to compile
pygobject (which is needed by pygtk of course) for win32.

I really don't know how to do it, help appreciated.

Would it be possible to have windows releases at the same time of
sources? 2.14 is still not available for windows.

Thanks for this new release!
