Jan,

Try using a negative number for the carve argument.

 Subject: [PyMOL] inverse carve command

 Dear pymol experts,

I would like to render a density at a given contour such that
all density shows that is NOT within a certain distance of a residue.
So in a sense I need the inverse of the carve command.

I would really appreciate any ideas,

 Cheers,
 Jan
