Thank you so much for all your help. I just ran this command pip install 
opencv-python opencv-python-headless and it solves the problem.

Thanks for the update. I cannot test this myself at the moment, my laptop does 
not yet run Big Sur and I'm only running it in VM's on a mac mini without a 
webcam. 

This might be a problem with opencv, 

 mentions a similar issue (with a workaround, but no clear solution)

I installed Python 3.8 from Python.org,  the Mac version is 11.0.1 (20B29). I 
have no idea before but now it doesn't work anymore. I will include the Python 
script here

- How was Python installed?
- What version of macOS?
- Are you using an M1 system?
- Is the problem reproducible with a script that you can share?
- ...

I would like to know why when I run my script from python3.8 for the 
VideoCapture which it was working before the new update for MacBook. Now it 
runs and the camera lights green but the python launcher, not apple to opens 
the camera no idea why.
