Having spent efforts to persuade the community that 3.0 isn't intended to replace 2.6 for production use it would be a shame to have docs.python.org counteract that. regards Steve -- Steve Holden+1 571 484 6266 +1 800 494 3119 Holden Web LLC http://www.holdenweb.com/ ___ Python-Dev mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-dev Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-dev/archive%40mail-archive.com

[Python-Dev] Release blocker with no assignee (now me)
Can someone comment on this ticket? http://bugs.python.org/issue3666 It's marked as a release blocker for 3.0. I added a patch then refined it based on a comment by Christian Heimes. It was unassigned. I just took it and will apply the patch if it gets a thumbs up from another developer. [Python-Dev] Status of dictnotes.txt?
Hi everyone, I was enjoying reading Raymond Hettinger's Objects/dictnotes.txt, and was wondering, which (if any) of its suggestions implemented? I see most of it was written back in 2003. If I remember correctly (and based on a skimming of dictnotes.txt), those aren't suggestions, it is documentation about the actual implementation and why those decisions were made. - Josiah ___ Python-Dev mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-dev Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-dev/archive%40mail-archive.com
