However, C can serve as a great set of fundamentials in programming and understanding machines on a low level, such as memory management, etc., which all had to be done manually at this time. It also seems important to note the differences between execution on runtime, and compiled languages, but there is many videos / articles that do a better job at explaining it than it do.
