Subject: utidylib: New repository fork with integrated debian patches.
Source: utidylib
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
After reading http://blog.cihar.com/archives/2012/01/04/utidylib-dead/
I have decided to help out by forking the repository into a new
project that provides patches.

[project] https://github.com/lachlan-00/utidylib2
[source] https://github.com/lachlan-00/utidylib2/downloads

This repository has merged all of the Debian patches as well as any
others on the original project page. I have also cleaned up the code
and updated a depreciated section.

The downloads link provides a source gzip which i made to match the
Debian orig.tar.gz file on the package page.

I've done this specifically to help out Debian and I hope this repo
and my maintenance can be of some service to everyone. I'll help out
however i can and keep this repo active for as long as it's needed.

Cheers.
Lachlan

Hi

as the repository is still not published on pypi to be recognized in
Python community, I've decided not to switch upstream to this one.

Also I've made some more fixes to my repository at
https://github.com/nijel/utidylib/ and will try to get this one
included in pypi.

[Python-modules-team] Bug#758022: test_interpolate.TestPPoly.test_roots test fails on i386

2014-08-13 Thread Matthias Klose
Package: python-scipy

this test fails when the package is rebuilt on today's sid. The error then is
ignored during the test build, however it fails hard in the autopkg test.

[Python-modules-team] Bug#758035: libapache2-mod-wsgi: WSGIDaemonProcess python-path and home fails

2014-08-13 Thread Sebastian Rittau
Package: libapache2-mod-wsgi
Version: 4.2.7-1
Severity: important

Since upgrading to mod-wsgi 4.2, even a simple WSGI script will cause an
Internal Server Error when the python-path and home arguments to
WSGIDaemonProcess are used in conjunction with WSGIProcessGroup.

Consider the following script:

def application(env, sr):
sr(200 OK, [])
return XXX

and the following WSGI configuration

WSGIDaemonProcess foo home=/tmp python-path=/tmp
WSGIProcessGroup foo

This will cause an Internal Server Error with the following log entry:

[Wed Aug 13 19:28:05.889392 2014] [wsgi:error] [pid 25594] [client
127.0.0.1:36384] Truncated or oversized response headers received from daemon
process 'foo': /tmp/test.wsgi

Removing either the WSGIDaemonProcess, the python-path, or the home directive
will fix it.

Your package has been put into the NEW queue, which requires manual action
from the ftpteam to process. The upload was otherwise valid (it had a good
OpenPGP signature and file hashes are valid), so please be patient.

Packages are routinely processed through to the archive, and do feel
free to browse the NEW queue[1].

If there is an issue with the upload, you will recieve an email from a

If you have any questions, you may reply to this email.
