[Qgis-developer] DB Manager SQL Error with ?non uft8 tables?
While trying to open SQL Window with a Postgis Database, I get the error below. I can see that there are some problems with utf-8, also because my database has some Latin1 encoded tables. Using another empty database I don't get this error. This is new both in 2.0.1 (dev) and 2.1.0, the same database worked well in both 1.8 and 1.9. I'm using Windows 7 64 in this machine. I will try in a linux machine latter Should I post a ticket for this? Or just wait a bit more for the packaging fixes. Re: [Qgis-developer] processing not finding saga
Hi, I don't know if anyone encountered this issue, or if it is a local problem. When I run QGIS with an account without administrative privileges, processing does not find SAGA or GRASS. If I run QGIS as administrator, it works. I've uninstalled everything and went back to install, and the same happens, both with OSGeo4W QGIS master and QGIS 2.0.1 standalone. Does anyone have any idea about what could be? This happens in Windows 7. Re: [Qgis-developer] QGIS 2.0 and GRASS integration on OSX and Windows
Most of our Windows users seem to get a very similar behavior. Hi Andreas, as pointed in the past days in another thread it seems that in the qgis 2.0 standalone installers for Windows GRASS/processing is not working. SAGA/processing it is also not working but in this case SAGA does not seems included at all. They both work if QGIS is installed with osgeo4w. cheers -- Giovanni -- ___ Qgis-developer mailing list Qgis-developer@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer

Re: [Qgis-developer] QGIS 2.0 and GRASS integration on OSX and Windows
Hi Giovanni, I've been doing a set of tests on Windows, with the binaries that are today on QGIS website (I think they are new). As you found, everything works with OSGeo4W version. With standalone versions, SAGA is already included (although with different versions, which in my view is not good) and it works, but GRASS doesn't. In addition, the drivers included in one and another version are slightly different: -- QGIS 64 (QGIS-OSGeo4W-2.0.1-2-Setup-x86_64.exe) License overview: 1. QGIS 2. MrSID Raster Plugin for GDAL 3.
