[Qgis-developer] wrong distance after feature buffer selection in meters, please help
Hello, I am trying to develop a plugin for QGIS with C++, but my skills are that of a beginner. So far I have managed to let the user select a point and make a buffer around this point, depending what value (in meters) the user chose, to select other points within this radius. Now I realised, the distance is false. With the measure tool I measured the distance between the points, but there are some points missing that should lie in this radius. My guess is that I messed up the Crs? I am confused. Could someone help me? The projects map units are meters. On the fly projection is enabled. The layer on which the plugin operates has the WGS 48 crs. Sincerely, Julia P. ___ Qgis-developer mailing list Qgis-developer@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
[Qgis-developer] About qgsAffine vector plugin
Hello, I noticed that qgsAffine plugin appears under Layer menu, instead of Vector. I have an italian version of 2.8.1-Wien, but I tested also setting in English US language, and nothing changes.Plugin version is 1.0.1 Moreover, switching off and on the plugin, it appears duplicated (or more) in (Layer) menu. We compile all recent libraries (GDAL, GEOS, etc), so we should compile spatiallite library, too... disabling it on ccmake would be nicer :-) Just checked again. There's also a dependency on spatialite from qgis_core. More particular, offline editing makes use of it. So you will need to introduce some CMake magic to skip this part when compiling without spatialite.
