The new icons for the Layers and Browser docks look good, but now the

switch those over from QToolButtons to a actions on a QToolBar instead for
the upcoming release? These docks would then look similar to the Console's
QToolBar (see either screen snap).

There's some discussion on the pull request regarding this, see:

https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/2071#issuecomment-106283486

The plan is to drop the icon/button sizes down a level (should then match
the previous appearance).

2015-05-28 Thread Mathieu Pellerin
Larry,

As Nyall mentioned, icon size of the dock tool button will go back to 16 x
16 by default. That'll make things look the same as before.

That said, the border on the buttons (no present on other OSes) aren't very
nice. It might be worth adding a style specifically for os x to remove
those.

Re: [Qgis-developer] QGIS as WPS server?

2015-05-28 Thread Larry Shaffer
Hi,

I also am involved with some work that can benefit from WPS integration of
Processing, and found René-Luc's new plugin while searching today.

What would help further in my situation is to be able to export the
Processing model into a format that can be loaded as a backend process in
another WPS setup, e.g. GeoServer with WPS, but configured via QGIS.
René-Luc, any thoughts on that?

Is there a standardized definition for WPS that describing input/outputs
that a Processing model can be exported into (assuming all dependencies
would be the same on the remote server executing the process)? I looked in
the spec and noticed the WPS Native Process Model [0]. Any experience with
that?

[Qgis-developer] Referencing QgsComposerAttributeTable from a Print Composer Template

2015-05-28 Thread Jakob Lanstorp
When referencing a QgsComposerAttributeTable from a Print Composer template
like this:

composerView = composerList[0]
composition = composerView.composition()
attrtable = composition.getComposerItemById('MyComposerAttributeTable')

I get a class 'qgis._core.QgsComposerFrame' returned in attrtable object.
I would expect a QgsComposerAttributeTable?

Need to set a filter on the attribute table in the print composer.

Since the composer is large with a lot of items, I have made the template in
the print composer and getting the items with
getComposerItemById('MyItemId'). If I build the composer from scratch in
Python, I can of course use the QgsComposerAttributeTable, but is not an
option here.

Call multiFrame() on the frame to get a reference to its parent
attribute table. Tables can be split over multiple frames, so each
item is it's own frame. The attribute table is the parent multiframe
which controls what is displayed in each individual frame.

attrtable =

[Qgis-developer] QGIS crashes when stopping editing mode

2015-05-28 Thread Boehnke, Christian
Dear list,

QGIS crashes when discarding all changes, made in editing mode on a temporary
vector layer. I'm writing a plugin to access and modify the attribute table
while the layer is in editing mode. When starting the editing mode, I change
the attribute values for each new feature with the coordinates from canvas and
other given information. When the editing mode stops without saving anything,
QGIS crashes giving me a hint with a dump file. The error message is attached
(sorry, that it is in german).

Cheers

Re: [Qgis-developer] Using TravisCI integration in Github for QGIS Python plugin

2015-05-28 Thread Akbar Gumbira
In InaSAFE we actually use Jenkins with Github PR Builder plugin now for
our reference. We had some problems with Travis: There were some tests that
could take more than 10 mins and all the tests could take 50 mins and
would hit job timeout in travis for public repo. Also sometimes the job
failed to start.

But thanks for mentioning InaSAFE, I think now I can make Travis work again
as we reworked some tests to just use dummy data and it only takes around
24mins now that I see its Travis page.

this doesn't explain why each operations isn't grouped.
