Re: [QGIS-Developer] Vocabulary learning: Dissolve vs Merge
Also there is the new aggregate processing tool that do exactly the same task than dissolve but with much more powerfull options ! Re: [QGIS-Developer] Weird behavior with raster styles
Hi, I was also confronted to this weird auto-classification behavior (https://issues.qgis.org/issues/17102) and it seems it can be tricky to reproduce. As I pointed in the issue discussion, it seems to me that classification should happen only and only if the user explicitly click on the classify button. Maybee we need to fill a new ticket. -- Sent from: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/QGIS-Developer-f4099106.html ___ QGIS-Developer mailing list QGIS-Developer@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
Re: [QGIS-Developer] Editing rule based labeling with the new QGIS3 python API
No sadly it only return a QgsAbstractVectorLayerLabeling. -- Sent from: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/QGIS-Developer-f4099106.html ___ QGIS-Developer mailing list QGIS-Developer@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
Re: [QGIS-Developer] Exploring the new node tool: questions and bugs(?)
My 2 cents after som testing: 1. I agree with the necessity to consider only the vertices of the selected feature(s), it's the best way to resolve edition at common boundary. Nyall's proposed approach seems good to me, otherwise another idea to avoid the "magic effect": we can just test if the selected feature(s) is visible in the viewport and if not display a warning message explaining why there is no editable vertex in the current view. 2. About the double click to add a new vertex anywhere on a segment. This behavior does not really match the click-click approach. I think a double click must result on a new vertex added and validated, like 2 following simple click without move of the node position. On another side, ability to add a vertex anywhere on the segment is an important feature, for this task it will be more instinctive to see the "+" symbol (actually displaying only at the middle of a segment) following the mouse mouvement across the edge so we can add a new vertex at any point of the segment without perform a double click. 3. I'm not in favour with the ability to highlight and move a segment, selecting 2 vertices to move a segment seems enough to me. 4. Selecting one or several nodes by drawing a rectangle is very udsefull but it lack the ability to add new nodes to the current selection by maintenaing ctrl or shift key. Re: [QGIS-Developer] [Qgis-developer] Are there plans to create a unique "Add layer" tool?
Hi, Thank you very mutch for this work. It would be usefull to add an explicit entry for opening non spatial tabular data like ods, xls or dbf. It's really un-intuitive to add this kind of datasource by vector dialog and the user needs to control how the first line will be interpreted (column header or not). Actually there is no way to control this and adding a spreadsheet give unpredictable column headers. -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Are-there-plans-to-create-a-unique-Add-layer-tool-tp5315336p5323359.html Sent from the QGIS - Developer mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ QGIS-Developer mailing list QGIS-Developer@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-developer
