I think its ok to use mac/linux/ubuntu screenshots but standardised for each platform. eg. Linux: Gnome Clearlooks Win: WinXP 'toys r us' look Mac: ok no choice here :-) It would be actually nice to have on the front page the same project loaded on each platform and the three screenshots superimposed to give the user an immediate impression of 'this thing runs everywhere'. Hi all, I would recommend building something with the spearfish6 dataset, available with GRASS or from their website, I believe. You can create something fairly complex in appearance there. Just make sure everyone is working from the same projection now that raster OTF is implemented. Bug fixing can continue in trunk (but no string changes please), planned branch for release date remains at 7 April.
