Re: [Qgis-user] Save field mapping
Hello Luigi, Yes, fields can be loaded from layer, but I want to save expressions too. I found solution by creating a processing model --> it allow to "preconfigure" the field mapping and save the model with the mapping. Re: [Qgis-user] area units
Metres squared/10,000 equals hectares. You can calculate this via an expression and add it as a new attribute Cheers - Phil, > On 1 Oct 2018, at 9:22 pm, Boaz Bar Ilan wrote: > > hi > what is the way to show area units not on kilometer square and not as meter > square but as meter square /1000 ? > thanks > boaz > ___ > Qgis-user mailing list > Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org > List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user > Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user

Re: [Qgis-user] Save field mapping
as far as I understand, you can choose to load the mapping from a layer. so the workflow would be... create a layer where to register the mapping and edit it with common editing commands. No reason to add a export feature when you can edit a simple vector layer as impit to the mapping. Re: [Qgis-user] python api code explanation
prem ise: I never used this class (btw it should be necessary to create a processing alg to use it to remove some gdal calc limitations) I can't say if there is some error in SIP definition or whatelse... but I suggest to check the use of the class directly in it's tests https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/blob/master/tests/src/analysis/testqgsalignraster.cpp and if there is a lack of test, please add it in cpp or python. [Qgis-user] FYI: pitfall using spatialite intersects() etc.
Hi, as regular user of PostGIS I was baffled that a virtual layer containing WHERE st_intersects(t2.geometry, t1.geometry) gave seemingly wrong results. Reading the docs: "The return type is Integer, with a return value of 1 for TRUE, 0 for FALSE, and –1 for UNKNOWN corresponding to a function invocation on NULL arguments" So UNKNOWN -> -1 -> True will join null geometries with each other geometry. There is probably not much QGIS can do about this. Changed the query in WHERE st_intersects(t2.geometry, t1.geometry) = 1 -- Kai Borgolte, Bonn ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
