I have never had any such issue due to Qt libraries. Also, I have not
updated nor changed anything from Qt versions installed. QGis simply
started showing this issue, and with the release of QGis 3.6 I assumed
there could be something to do with it, but I am not sure what exactly.

Any ideas on why this is so?

Thanks

I then tried Vector Overlay -> Clip and got an error for invalid

I then ran Vector Geometry -> Fix Geometries

Ciao Marco,
ho testato la funzionalità con QGIS 3.4.5 LTR su Winows 7 64 bit usando sia
dei memory layer sia degli shapefiles puntuali e poligonali e non ho
riscontrato il problema segnalato.

Forse stai usando una versione precedente?

A presto.

ciao giuseppe,
nel nome della risorsa su transifex non trovo la versione di riferimento;

Re: [Qgis-user] Clip Lines (Roads) with Polygon (States)

2019-03-17 Per discussione Mike Flannigan

Now I am wondering if I am posting to the correct list.
I guess it's not the list I intended to post to.

Anyway, when I filled this form out
http://www.mflan.com/temp/clip1.jpg
and clicked on "Run as Batch Process", it produces a
blank box:
http://www.mflan.com/temp/clip2.jpg

I didn't know what to do with that, so I did the same:
http://www.mflan.com/temp/clip3.jpg
but clicked on Run in Background, and it gave an error:
http://www.mflan.com/temp/clip4.jpg

But it did create a USAroads shape file.  When I loaded it
it appeared to be blank, even though it is 10.9 MB:
http://www.mflan.com/temp/clip5.jpg

So I tried to find Feature (26).
I believe it is this one:
http://www.mflan.com/temp/clip6.jpg

If anybody has the patience for all of this, the
layer files are here:

http://www.mflan.com/temp/roads-north_america.zip
http://www.mflan.com/temp/statep010.zip

BTW, judging by other shape files I have found in my
records, I think I have successfully clipped roads in
the past.  I just don't remember how to do it now.

Perhaps I need to create only one, single polygon for
the lower 48 states as a first step??  I will work on
that for now.

Choose input and clip layer and output layer format and name.
Intersect would add the attributes of both layers to the output; clip
simply subsets the input features to the area encompassed by the clip
(polygon) layer, which seems to be what you want.

Yes, I see that there are a lot of possible ways

This is provided in case anybody can use these:

Se, in Legenda, nascondo alla vista la simbologia di una o più delle
categorie del layer categorizzato (Fig. 2) non vi è più modo di farle
ricomparire alla vista se non quello di dover andare in Layer --> Proprietà

[Qgis-user] Disable Vector Export/Save as Dialog window

2019-03-17 Per discussione Muhammad Iqnaul Haq
Hi all,

I want to disable Vector file export in QGIS 3. I’ve tried to unchecked
‘QgsVectorLayerSaveAsDialogBase’ in QGIS interface customization, and restarted
the QGIS but it’s not working.

The goal is I want to prevent my users to do vector file export (data stored as
PostGIS layers).

Any suggestions?
