can you go over:

and tell us if you hit all those buttons?

Most obvious reasons I can think of based on the info you provide:
- the CRS ("projection") you save your referenced images in is different
then the one of your QGIS project: make sure QGIS knows which crs is
your georeferenced image in (that is: the crs you were georeferencing to)

- the georeferencer plugin saves to geotiff if I'm right, so in a
geotiff the coordatines will be IN the file. For other file formats
there is a 'world file' created [0]. Did you copy both your world file
AND the image?

If you open a new project and ONLY load your referenced image, do you
see appropriate coordinates in the bottom bar of QGIS? If you
georeferenced to lat lon you should see -180 < xy < 180 (epsg:4326 ==
lat lon( etc. If you used google maps you will see epsg:3857 etc etc
Be sure to either georeference using a map in your goal crs, OR use QGIS
later to reproject to your destination crs.

[Qgis-user] Georeferencer

[Dave Gardiner]

I have been using the QGIS Georeferencer to geo-reference a map image and
then bring it in to its correct geographic position as a QGIS layer. It's a
great feature and will save heaps of time instead of having to digitize.
However, I am not seeing my image appear in the layer (only the dots I used
as the reference coordinates have come through to the layer and they are in
their correct position).   Can anyone help me with this please?

Hi Nick,
Thanks for this method.
I didn't manage to do it in the QGIS python console but I installed gdal on the 
mac and it does the job perfectly.
I have more than to make a script to convert the whole and I could exploit that 
on QGIS.

Hai perfettamente ragione. Da mia esperienza ogni foglio catastale va
trattato a se ed è quasi sempre necessario basarsi sulle mappe d'impianto in
quanto costituisco il riferimento in assoluto più accurato. Per ottenere
precisioni submetriche l'unica possibilità è dapprima georiferire la mappa
d'impianto in C-S utilizzando tutti i crocicchi in modo da limitare la
massimo le distorsioni e in seconda battuta utilizzare coppie di punti
omologhi misurate con strumenti GNSS ad alta precisione ed applicare le
trasformazioni. Tutti gli altri tentativi consentono di ottenere al massimo
accuratezze nell'ordine di qualche metro.

It is possible to assign georeferenced bounds to a raster using
gdal_translate:

gdal_translate -a_ullr input.png output.tiff

Where:
 = upper left x
 = upper left y
 = lower right x
 = lower right  y

The resulting tiff won't contain CRS data.

I tried to save it in .geoTiff format (right click, export, save as) I end up 
with a white or black tile … 
If you want to try, here is the png and the coordinates (if you get there, I 
would like to know the method)

la funzione elabora senza problemi, testata con macOS 10.14.6 e QGIS 3.10

Scusami se mi permetto, ma hai verificato che dopo aver selezionato i due
layer, la finestra di dialogo relativa alla funzione non si nasconda in
background a quella di QGIS??

saving as .tif. That should be georeferenced.  If you absolutely want to use a 
.png, you will need to create a world file.  To see how they work, just export 
the map window using .png.  A world file will be created and will contain the 
information you are looking for.  The world file is a text file that can be 
opened with notepad++ or any text editor.

[QGIS-it-user] [project home] browser panel di QGIS - non carica bene le view SL

Ciao a tutti e buona domenica,

La Home del progetto - nel browser panel - è una cartella molto utile,
contiene e visualizza il file di progetto e altri file presenti all'interno.

Questa cartella viene visualizzata nel browser panel subito dopo aver
salvato il progetto.

Noto che le view spatialite caricate a partire da questa cartella non
vengono ben gestite, cioè carica solo la prima riga nonostante nelle
proprietà della vista compare il numero corretto delle righe.

Per verifica ho caricato la stessa view, stesso db SL dal gruppo SPatialite
presente sempre nel browser panel, e funzionano bene, leggo tutti le righe.

come riprodurlo:
1. creare un database spatialite, io ho usato spatialite_gui 2.0 (spatialite
4.3a);
2. importare del vettori, qualsiasi;
3. creare una vista semplice , senza geometria, utilizzando le geotabelle
presenti nel db;
4. avviare QGIS, collogare il db usando un browsere panel
5. aggiungere una geotabella  al progetto;
6. salvare il progetto, chiudere QGIS e riavviarlo; aprire il progetto;
7. nel browser panel in alto trovate la Home del progetto, all'interno il
database;
8. provare a caricare la vista a partire dalla home;
9. aprite la tabella attributi e noterete:
a. inizia con rowid, anche se non è un campo della view;
b. è visibile solo la prima riga.

In the same principle, I can determine the South East coordinates.
I know that the whole map is divided into 1024 tiles of 256px in longitude, 
1024 x 256 = 262144px for 360 ° so a tile = (256 x 360) / 262144 = 0.3515625 °
Same reflection for the latitude, 512 tiles of 256px or 512 x 256 = 131 072px 
for 180 ° so a tile = (256 x 180) / 131 072 = 0.3515625 °

lonE = lonN + 0.3515625

How can I add these coordinates to the png file?

Forse è sbagliato, ma credo che la rotazione, per mantenere gli aspetti
delle geometrie, richieda di tener conto del sistema di riferimento in cui
si effettua la rotazione. Credo (ma non ne sono sicuro) che in un sistema
di riferimento geografico, nella rotazione ci possa essere qualche problema
legato all'aspetto.

[Qgis-user] QGIS2threejs not working

Hi
I need some assistance. I finally decided to switch to GQIS 3.5. from QGSA
2.14 (historic decision for me).. Unfortunately the QGIS2threejs does not
work. I have a DEM that works in QGIS 2.14 and 3D view but not here. When I
upload the DEM the only thing I get is the blue sky canvas and a message:

*No 3D objects were rendered? There is a compatibility issue with QGIS 3D
view. You need to close QGIS 3D view(s) and restart QGIS to use this
preview. *

No! I did not start 3D view. The option Decorations dorks. The only thing
that happens is "Building  DEM .End.

ma OCCORRE LA PARTECIPAZIONE DI TUTTI,

Benvenuto.
Il problema della rotazione è stato risolto, qui [0] trovi tutti le issue
chiuse.

Ho appena fatto un test usando QGIS 3.10.1:
ho creato una griglia poligonale rettangolare di 500 x500m (26 elementi per
lato),
ho selezionato tutta la griglia e con lo strumento Ruota Elemento/i (barra
degli strumenti di digitalizzazione avanzata) ho effettuato una rotazione.
Non noto nulla di strano, i rettangoli sono rimasti rettangoli.
