[Qgis-user] Lost the plugins
Hi, this morning I update (using osgeo4w) my qgis-dv. And after the menu plugin became empty of all installed plugins. The plugin manager still report me over 40 plugin installed, but noone is listed. Perhaps is changed the path to plugin store folder ? [Qgis-user] Looking for help to update the englisch manual
Hi, the release of QGIS 2.0 is coming closer and I think it would be very nice, if we manage to have an updated englisch manual available with the release with all GUI changes and the new features that are included. Since QGIS 1.8 we managed to migrate everything to RST and github. So this part is done ... now we are looking for people, who are willing to update and extend the manual. A current, not complete list of todos is/will be listet here: http://hub.qgis.org/wiki/17/ManualTasks#Updates-QGIS-20-User-Guide If you have some time to help us, please write to the gis-community-team mailing list. Thanks a lot Otto ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user

[Qgis-user] No diagrams
Hello, I use QGIS 1.8 and I generated a map with diagrams on each feature. When I export this map out of print composer, nearly all diagrams are lost. Onla one diagram is left. No matter if I export an image or pdf. Is there a workaround? [Qgis-user] Qgis - automate operation
Dear all, I'm trying to automate some basic operation (import of raster, select color palette, ...). I assume it is possible to do it with Python scripts but I don't know this programming language... Re: [Qgis-user] No diagrams
Hello, The QGIS diagrams have been improved and bugs corrected in QGIS master (aka soon to be released QGIS 2.0). I would recommend to use QGIS 2.0 over 1.8 when working with diagrams. I remember there was a printing bug in QGIS 1.8 similar to what you describe. You can install and run QGIS 1.8 and QGIS 2.0 in parallel if you want.
