Re: [Qgis-user] Custom forms with subform

2018-10-15 Thread Carlos Dávila
And one more question. Adding an image widget as you describe in [1]
doesn't seem to work. I guess it's due to "Photo" type no longer
available in QGIS 3. Should it work the same with "Attachment" type or
must I do something different?

This is the reason I always recommend to people to use a scale bar rather
than a specific numeric scale, you are safe no matter what the printer (or
people) do to your masterpiece.

Re: [Qgis-user] Scale on printed pdf is incorrect

2018-10-15 Thread Antongeo76
Hi Flore,

I just did a test on a 1: 2000 scale map I printed from QGIS 2.18.24

in QGIS (whit snap active) the measurement between two points is 67.658 m,
on the pdf the same measurement (without snap) is 33.802mm.
The difference is only 0.027mm and is probably due to the absence of a snap
in the pdf reader.

Antonio

Re: [Qgis-user] Custom forms with subform

2018-10-15 Thread Andreas Neumann
Hi Carlos,

Subforms are possible. But only in "Drag and Drop Designer" mode. Not so
easy with your custom UI file from Designer - maybe it would work, but
then most likely it would require python coding.

First, you have to establish table relations in your project:

Menü Project --> Project Properties --> Relations.

Then you go to your layer properties --> Attribute form tab. Instead of
choosing your custom UI file, switch to Drag and Drop form mode.

After switching to drag and drop designer mode, there are now three
columns:

- The available widgets --> in the lower parts you can see the relations
you defined in the step above

- The Form layout: Tabs/Sections/Groups

- The selected widgets properties

Hope this helps.

Re: [Qgis-user] Scale on printed pdf is incorrect

2018-10-15 Thread Andreas Neumann
Hi Flore,

Are you absolutely sure that the printer is not scaling during the
printing? Many printers "autoscale" and shrink the content, because they
think that there is content right to the edge (even if it is just
white-space). In such case, you can often force the printer to turn off
auto-scaling through some printer setting (e.g. print at 100%).

Another source of confusion regarding printing at scale is the
coordinate system. What coordinate system is your data in and what
coordinate system are you using in your project? Anything lat/lon should
be converted into a projected coordinate system, before trying to print
at scale.

If you double checked that and can confirm that it is not the fault of
some printer setting, than you should file an issue report at
https://issues.qgis.org/ and we can find a developer to look at the
issue. Best, if you could provide a sample data and project to reproduce
the issue.

Greetings,

Andreas

[Qgis-user] Scale on printed pdf is incorrect

2018-10-15 Thread Flore Cotton
Hi,

I have a problem with printing a map on the right scale (Qgis2.18.24).

If I put the map in the print composer on an A4 format, I change the scale (for
example 1000), and I print the pdf, it is printed on the right scale. (I
recalculated it, by measuring a specific distance in qgis and then on the pdf).

Now, our map is very detailled and we need those details in good quality. So we
need to print the map on format A0, to have the best quality. If I do the same
as before (change scale, print on pdf), the scale isn't right on the pdf.
Instead of scale 1/1000, I get some scale in my recalculation.

Do you know what the problem is, or what did I do wrong?

Thank you,

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I had a hunch
something like that was to blame. I am hoping that
Jürgens recent updates to the whole OSGeo4W stack
will sort this issue out. But first there’s a few kinks
with those updates that needs sorting out.

I should say that it is a kind of problem that are almost impossible to solve,

where network access can be disabled within QGIS. Outside QGIS there are no
problems accessing the network. QGIS doesn’t have problems reading files from
network drives either, so this seems to be purely related to HTTP-access.

Is this a known issue? If so, is there a workaround?

Re: [Qgis-user] Network access is disabled

2018-10-15 Thread Jorge Gustavo Rocha
Hi Kristian,

Check the settings at: Settings → Options → Network
These are the settings used for http access.
Have you any proxy on your network for http access?

Regards,

Jorge

[Qgis-user] Network access is disabled

2018-10-15 Thread Kristian Evers
Hi,

I am having some issues adding WMS layers. QGIS fails to retrieve the
capabilities
file and adds "Network access is disabled" to the log. This is with QGIS 3.2.3
on Win10.
Googling a bit I see that a few others have experienced this in the past,
although
with earlier versions of QGIS3. As far as I can see there isn't any obvious ways
where network access can be disabled within QGIS. Outside QGIS there are no
problems accessing the network. QGIS doesn't have problems reading files from
network drives either, so this seems to be purely related to HTTP-access.

Is this a known issue? If so, is there a workaround?

Best regards,
Kristian

Io farei un altro esempio dal titolo: 'conta i punti nel poligono con
categorie' o qualcosa di simile, per tre motivi:
1. perché mi piacerebbe menzionarti come contributo con un nuovo esempio
(magari ti firmi e metti qualche tuo link);
2. perché allego sempre i dataset ad ogni esempio;
3. meglio cose semplici e ben descritte;

grazie mille
