Be careful with AMD and Linux, I had a lot of problems with drivers...
Finally, I installed Windows (OMG!) because I had a lot of problems,
graphic, battery, wifi, etc...

Hi,
You should to define environment variables to use pg_service.conf in server
too.
Of course, the service should to use tha same name.

Test without define connection to database using "service", therefore write
host/port/databse/user& password to confirm that the connection it's ok.

[Qgis-user] Problems to do viewshed (SAGA, GRASS and...)

Hi,
I'm trying to do a visibility layer.
First, I'm try to use "Viewshed analytics" but don't work for me (2.18.9 on
Linux).
But, this closes QGIS every time that I execute the tool.

I think that my layers are OK, the same SRC, the model elevation is the
original from Cartographic Institute "official".

Then I try to use SAGA, but I don't have the tool terrain analysis >
Lighting > visibility (single point) interactive

And finally I try to use grass, r.viewshed, but neither:
Error in `r.viewshed': free(): invalid pointer: 0x016bb218 ***

I need to do a visibility raster,
Do you have any suggestion?

I answer myself,

Finally I have done the following steps:

   - create the layout of a page 1
   - export as template (qpt)
   - edit the template with Notepad ++
   - replace page = "1" page = "2"
   - add the second page of my composition
   - Import the template (qpt)

So, I get copied to the same place all the elements at once but on page 2.

I'm thinking about your question..
Perhaps you could place the labels using an expresions in coordinates X and
Y.
In your expresion you can use any vertex from the line
you can count number of vertex and locate your label in the vertex that you
want... or proportional to numbers of vertex..

I recomend you this functions:

   - $x_at(i)
   - $y_at(i)
   - num_points($geometry)

 As in: if you have three editable layers, which one is 'leading', which
 is to follow and which one should maybe be ignored... Does this need a
 dialog, or is it enough to edit one of the layers, and all editable
 layers just follow, then all editable layers should 'listen' to all
 editable layers

 SE_ANNO_CAD_DATA is a BLOB type filed

 We’ve tried qgis 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8 on Windows 7 (OSGeo4W installation).



 2)  We’ve also tried hiding the field SE_ANNO_CAD_DATA before
 executing ‘Save as’ shape without success:



 Export to vector file failed.

 Error: unsupported type for field SE_ANNO_CAD_DATA



 Do you know a workaround for this issue ? Is there any way to omit the
 column SE_ANNO_CAD_DATA from the export ?

 Yes, we saw the project. Since it is Java-based, it was not really adequate
 for a good integration with QGIS.

 We worked on QGIS Processing SWMM integration too, but it is not ready yet.
 All this work can use any QGIS data source, hence PostgreSQL/PostGIS of
 course.

 What could be interesting though is collaborating on a water distribution
 network model to standardize it.
 There are a few initiatives already in that field, like in the qwat project
 with Denis Rouzaud, which are really complementary to the simulation work.
 We intend to work towards that goal in the future.

 Do you have a full dataset for EPANET that you could provide and share, so
 that we include some test/example dataset with the Processing plugin ? That
 would be great.

 I would like import these coordinates into qgis in order to create a

 So i have converted those coordinates into decimal degrees. And i paste the

You try to create a point layer from polygon, from polygon's vertexs
you can use SAGA (procesing plugin) Convert poligon/line vertices to point

And then you work with the atribute table the point layer

 I am using the Group Stats Plugin on QGIS 2.0.1, on Mac OS X 10.9.

 Calculations run very well but I am not finding a solution to export the
 calculation results to an Excel spreadsheet.
 Copy / Paste is not possible and there is not a Save as or an Export
 option.

 Is this a missing option in the Plugin, a problem related with Mac OS X
 10.9, or there is something that I am not doing correctly?

It would be possible to display the fields in the Identify Results in the
same order they appear in the table.
Currently listed in alphabetical order, does not seem right!

Any ideas or suggestions?

And CRLFPOS2 is a numeric field with the position the second breakline

My SO is Debian 7
I found solution only for Ubuntu, but not for Debian!

I am very happy with the possibilities and functions of QGIS.

parcels.
I reviewed Actions and Joins in the properties layers.
Also, I reviewed almost all plugins, but I don't have lucky...

I'd like to view the owners in the Identify Results window's when I click
parcels.
Usually, every parcel has some owners, for this reason the join doesn't
work.

Any idea will be welcome.
