Re: [Qgis-user] Metasearch plugin problem

2016-04-07 Thread Vicent García
Tom,

Don't worry, I found the problem!

The problem was related to the catalog URL which I've copied from the Internet.
I've copied it wrong.

I solved the problem creating a new connection.

That's all.

Thanks for your patience and sorry. It was my mistake.

OK, this is the moment before the python error message appears.

Then, I click twice on the selected record and the problem appears. I can't
view more info about the dataset or service.

The version is 0.3.4.
The URL of the web catalog is (I guess that you want this one):

Re: [Qgis-user] Metasearch plugin problem

2016-04-06 Thread Vicent García
Of course,

First, open the Metadata Catalog Plugin and put a default catalog service
(whatever you want).
Then, search for a wms typing "wms" on the search box
Next, click on a service/dataset which has no the possibility to add it into
QGIS using the WMS/WMTS button
Finally, click twice on the selected service/dataset and the message will
appear automatically. That's my case.

Let me know if you have any doubt.

Vicent.

[Qgis-user] Metasearch plugin problem

2016-04-06 Thread Vicent García
Hi everyone,

I’m having troubles to run Metasearch CSW plugin on QGIS 2.14. When I find a
dataset/layer which can’t be added as a wms layer directly, I click on the
dataset located on the list in order to obtain more info about the data, but
a python error message appear inmediately. Typical error displayed is:
“<> has no attributes”.

I’m using Lubuntu as a OS.

# shp2mysql
ogr2ogr -f MySQL MySQL:,user=,password=
.shp -nln -overwrite -update -lco GEOMETRY_NAME=geom

# info about table
ogrinfo MySQL:,user=,password= -so

# mysql2shp
ogr2ogr -f "ESRI Shapefile" .shp
MySQL:,user=,password= -sql "SELECT * from "

 Hi list,

in order to use the GRASS geoprocessing tools in 2.10, I had to enter the
correct GRASS folder and the Msys folder in the Processing options window.

In 2.14, I cannot find the Msys folder . If I just enter the GRASS folder and
leave the Msys folder empty, I get an error message whenever I try to start a
GRASS tool from the toolbox:

It seems that GRASS is not correctly installed and configured in your system.
Please install it before running GRASS algorithms.

Any Idea?
