[Qgis-user] printing and extension issues
Hello, I ve got two issues : I use qgis2.0.1.3 32bits under win7 64 (because i read 64 version looks more a testing one). I can't use, update or delete any of the default extensions, nevertheless it looks they are well detected. I'm looking around this environnement variable without success. QGIS_PREFIX_PATH C:/PROGRA~2/QGISDU~1/apps/qgis The second issue is about printing. If i use a map overview of a ratated main map, the rotation is not reproduced on the overview map. This behaviour doesn't give a professionnal feeling. Regards, go qgis ! ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] qgis2 data source encoding
Hello, If i load a LATIN1 postgis table with qgis1.8, it is loaded without any problem. If i load the same table under qgis2.0.1 32bits character are not recognized, worst, the data source encoding drop down list is empty. I had to save the project, edit it with notepad++ and set the character encoding by hand. It seems that we try to add more and more fonctionnality in qgis without ensure that actual ones are really functional and constant. I use Qgis since many years and i think qgis2 is really less stable than 1.8. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user

[Qgis-user] new labelling method and rotation scale
Hello, I know that the columns are stored in the data, but i thought the modification allowed by the labelling method didn't affect the data. I was wrong. Everything looks ok thks no - it won't grow your .qgs file, as the columns are stored in your data. The .qgs file only references the data and stores the setting (e.g. which layers, which fonts to use, which data columns contain which text properties). The maximum scale should be respected, if it doesn't please file a bug report. Note that there are two places where to set min/max scales: in the layer itself (for the geometry loading) and in the label settings. If the max scale of the layer is smaller then the max scale of the label properties, the layer scale setting has precedence. Only features that are loaded can be labeled. [Qgis-user] new labelling method and rotation thks
Hello, Thanks for your answers, I've got my label rotated but we have to add x and y fields, this grows the size of the data. The new method doesn't respect the maximum scale of labelling i set ! (it's may be intelligent but i decide) (I checked the option in the parameters to display all the entities even those in conflict but it's the same) I hope this new labelling method won't make the size of qgs files grows to much.
