I see that is fixed now. Thanks for the super fast fix!

Best regards.

Hi all,
is NEWS.md manually or automatically generated?

https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/blob/master/NEWS.md

It seems it's still at 3.12

Should have been updated automatically - but scripts/update_news.pl was not
fully updated when NEWS.md was moved from doc to top-level.

Hi,

So true, Jürgen.

An information for any volunteer that would like to implement (or pay for)
such a feature: https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/issues/40405

That's just a cherry on the top. So many things to do, so little time:

https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/qgis-developer/2021-March/063351.html

A change list (and it's continuous maintanance and maybe infrastructure) that
is easier to digest, than the pure changes, is a very welcome contribution.

But until there are volunteers for that, you probably have no other choice than
to adapt your expectations.

SCNR.

I am not sure there have ever been changelogs for point releases

Well, I don't know about the rest of the people using QGIS, but sifting
through commits and pull requests to try to figure out what has and hasn't
been fixed isn't what is expected. Other software lists specific fixes and
known problems in a notice about each release.

You can do a compare between 3.18 and 3.18.1 to see the latest commits

https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/compare/final-3_18_0...final-3_18_1

Where would a person find the change logs for point releases?

At GitHub ( https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/releases ) all it does it point to
a general version change log (for either 3.18 or 3.16) and that log doesn't
specify what has happened between point releases.

What was fixed and what KNOW problems still aren't fixed? . . . Things to
know.
