Oh, stupid me. I can right click on the Favourites item and then it says : add folder. See ticket: https://issues.qgis.org/issues/16742 On Linux, I made a symlink from the network drive to one folder in my home directory. It's perfect. I wonder if you can do the same on Windows with a shortcut?
