I would like to konw if is there a way to recover an unsaved temporary
shape ?

Anyone ever had this problem ?

Thanks for helping. -- Thanks to you and Chris Hermansen I got a result, but it 
could be better. 

For the records, a short explanation:

Well, I checked the properties, jgd2011 is in Meters, the raster is said to be 
5m. In the official Japanese viewer, which creates a beautiful raster image 
without white pixels, the pixels are exactly 5m*5m. 

Today I tried the export to .xyz since the shapefile looked ugly, and after 
realising that the Japanese xyz is indeed yxz, everything looked fine, and I 
could store it in a Geopackage. But the grid is now 5,276m * 6,146m. But it 
fits well on top of the basemap. The basemap is of the same special Japanese 
GML format, but QGIS could read it all without problem. I do not understand why 
QGIS does not read the point data from  the GML fille, but that is an aside, I 
am amazed by what QGIS actually can do. 

From the Geopackage I could rasterize. It is as Chris Hermansen said, thanks. 
Unfortunately, I did not get it done from the shapefiles, they always looked 
weird or like nothing, even with identical settings. But the geopackages from 
xyz tiles are fine. 

For resolution, I chose georeferenced units as Chris suggested, and since the 
measurement tool got some different length, I put it to 5,276m by 6,146m. A 5m 
by 5m resolution created a weird layer with horizontally expanding white pixels.

It seems that tweaking with the resolution might lead to an even better result, 
but for the time being, it is OK as it is.

Hi,

If you closed a project with temporary scratch layer, that layer would be lost. 
 If you had a temporary layer written to the disk somehow, I would look in the 
...user/appData/Local/temp directory.  If the layer has been deleted by a clean 
shutdown, you may be able to find it with an undelete application.  Some Hard 
drive companies have free versions.  The time spend doing this could be greater 
than recreating the file.

Hi all,

Thanks to some funding from geoProRegio AG (www.geoproregio.ch), I've
recently had the opportunity to add support to QGIS labeling for
formatting label contents using HTML color, underline, strikethrough
and overline tags. See https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/36283 for
some pretty demo pictures of this in action!)

Partly, this work was intended to be a research project to determine
what further changes would be required to support a greater subset of
HTML tags (e.g. bold, italic, font size and family, super/subscript).
(These particular tags were initially selected because they do not
modify the shape or size of characters, which simplifies the text
layout calculations greatly!)

I'm now wondering if any organisation is interested in funding some of
these additional formatting tags, such as bold and italic. If you're
interested (and would like to see these supported in 3.14), please get
in contact with me ASAP. Feature freeze hits this week, so we'd need
to move quickly...

Hi, 

I am having problems to set up the parameters for Raster > Convert > Rasterize 
Vector to Raster

My basic map is JGD2011 / Japan Plnae Rectangular CS II, and I downloaded an 
xml file JPGIS/GML format, that had to be converted to shapefile in a special 
application. 

Now I have the points as a grid with approximately 5m distance and want to 
convert them to Raster, since this is what I want to use as DEM for analyses. 

Everything works, but the pixel are extremely largen, not 5m.

I set the units to pixel, and since it is 5m mesh (from 0.2 seconds), I was 
told to use 0.56 for horizontal and vertical resolution, but I do not know 
what I am doing there, and I do not find any similar application in tutorials, 
handbooks and books, the options in QGIS documentation do not really help. 

Can anybody guide me to the correct value? Or to another flaw in my thinking?

[QGIS-it-user] Qfield e WMS

Salve a tutti,
mi sto cimentando con Qfield. Tutto ok, bellissimo. Unica cosa non tutti i
WMS mi vengono visualizzati. Esempio: lavoro con diversi WMS del geoscopio
della Toscana, alcuni me li visualizza, altri no. Anche all'interno dello
stesso servizio (ortofoto in falso colore sì, ortofoto RGB no).
Non mi riesce proprio di capire come mai, qualcuno ha notizie a riguardo?

I am not sure what you are trying to do.  This is some Info on the file that 
could be empty.

If you are trying to save the project, try a path that has no spaces like in 
“home pc”.   Look in here, you might find some help.

[QGIS-it-user] Gestione file vettoriali catasto

Buongiorno,
scrivere per chiedere cortesemente un aiuto in relazione alla "gestione"
dei file vettoriali CXF del catasto, nell'ambito dei lavori attinenti la
redazione dello strumento urbanistico comunale.
L'obiettivo è di poter utilizzare il plugin CDU Creator sviluppato da Gter
srl.

Contestualizzo qui di seguito:
- file cxf del catasto, *comune lombardo* (al momento dispongo di una
fornitura parziale)
- al caricamento in QGIS il sistema di riferimento che assegno ai
vettoriali è EPSG 3003
- tramite il software VERTO online, riproietto i dati in EPSG 25832

Dopo aver verificato la corrispondenza dei vettoriali confrontandoli con il
wms dell'Agenzia delle Entrate, procedo caricando i shapefile degli edifici
comunali, in modo da confrontarli con il vettore dei fabbricati.
I shapefile degli edifici comunali (come quelli dello strumento
urbanistico), sono in EPSG 32632.
La sovrapposizione tra edifici comunali e fabbricati però non c'è: le
differenze sono variabili tra 1 e 7 metri (dipende dai punti) ed inoltre in
molti casi si ha una roto-traslazione.
Fermo restando che la forma dei poligoni (edifici e fabbricati) è
differente, noto che vi sono anche forme diverse nei poligoni delle
particelle (confronto tra vettore e wms) e in alcuni casi il wms mostra
delle particelle non presenti nel vettoriale (vettoriali richiesti una
decina di giorni fa... com'è possibile?).

Pongo le seguenti domande:
1- è possibile imputare all'incompleta fornitura dei cxf del territorio
comunale le differenze tra edifici comunali e fabbricati (da 1 a 7 metri)?
2- in presenza di queste incertezze, come posso capire / essere sicuro del
corretto posizionamento dei vettoriali del catasto?
3- EPSG 32632 e EPSG 25832, come dialogano tra loro? ossia, trovandomi con
il set di dati catastali in 25832 e con il set di dati urbanistici in
32632, come mi comporto?

Purtroppo con queste difficoltà, non è possibile utilizzare correttamente
il plugin CDU Creator.

No. Dipende da come è stato importato il cxf e che tipo di trasformazione è
stata adottata. Il passaggio da cassini-soldner a espg 3003 si porta dietro
delle imprecisioni anche di alcuni metri. Inoltre il passaggio da 3003 a
3263 (o 25832) si porta con se ulteriori errori se fatto con la semplice
conversione di coordinate implementata nei sw GIS. Si dovrebbero utilizzare
i grigliati o software che li utilizzano (ad esempio Verto online).

3- EPSG 32632 e EPSG 25832, come dialogano tra loro? ossia, trovandomi con
il set di dati catastali in 25832 e con il set di dati urbanistici in 32632,
come mi comporto? 

Sono la stessa identica cosa. Tuttavia andrebbe utilizzato solo in secondo.

per l'esperienza avuta posso risponderti (in attesa di intervento
professionale)

certamente NO
2- in presenza di queste incertezze, come posso capire / essere sicuro del
corretto posizionamento dei vettoriali del catasto?
devi verificare i sistemi di riferimento dei singoli layer
3- EPSG 32632 e EPSG 25832, come dialogano tra loro? ossia, trovandomi con
il set di dati catastali in 25832 e con il set di dati urbanistici in
32632, come mi comporto?
se hai assegnato al singolo layer il corretto SR nativo, la riproiezione al
volo di QGIS (do per scontato che usi QGIS nella sua versione 3, almeno, su
WIN) te li porta nella posizione corretta.

Quindi consiglio, prima di andare su CDU di testare se i layer sono
correttamente caricati nel progetto QGIS.

Per quanto so io.

Un quesito: i CXF, una volta importati (con quale plugin?), come li
inserisci nel progetto?
