Have you got a CDROM drive working on the Qubide?

 Hi Arnold,

Are you sure about the Printer lead from the Aurora, it must be a Super
Gold
Card, as the Aurora does not have Parallel Port.

If you want 100Mb IDE Zip drive, I have one for sale.

I have Omega installed on QPC2 using XP no problems. If I could get
it to

work on my aurora I would be able backup my harddisk easier than using
floppies
and if needed I could copy larger files from one machine to the other.

At the moment I have Omega connected to the Aurora in the printer

but Qubide is not picking it up.

Hi Stephen,

I didn't have a closer look, but your problem might just be that your C
compiler does more strict checking than the ones that were used back when
the sources were released. Try removing line 470 from QL68000.h.

If you have further questions, try the ql-developers mailing list.

2009-03-05 Thread Derek Stewart

Hi Arnold,

If you have a hard drive as IDE Master and CDROM as IDE Slave and want
to use the ZIP drive, then one of the devices will have to be removed.

The standard Quibide can only support 2 IDE devices.

There was a prototype multi IDE cable for the Qubide, but only the
chosen few ever seen it and it never worked.

No luck I'm afraid - same error, different line numbers.

Tried Peter's suggestion of deleting the earlier offending line which
appears to get me beyond the QL68000.h stage only to throw up several
hundred errors in xqlkey.c.

Hi John (Gilpin)

Thanks for your work with QUANTA

Re your:
Please keep me informed of this
problem over the next few issues - whether yours is damaged OR NOT (to get
some idea of balance) - it may be worth asking the PO to investigate.

My envelopes suffer from extensive fatigue along all/any edge. I.e. in
transit, they
are randomly 'worn through' where they were folded in manufacture.
However

nothing has been lost (yet!?).

Re your:

the

its useful life - don't we all!?!?

I'll hazard a guess that, as a result, label printing costs have gone up.
If not significantly THEN GOTO STOP.
If significantly; I can offer QUANTA an hardly used 24pin ESC/P2 Epson
LQ-100+ (with documentation etc) free for this purpose. Ribbons are
current

on-line sales item. I just checked!

Nice to be back,
