It is http://www.villamaria.ch/

and prices are pretty similar to the Tourist Board website, ie from E99
a night.

Urs - one thing that the booking site does not say. What does double

In England that is one bed for two people. We say 'twin room' for one
room with two single beds.

That is what Simon and I need.

In Switzerland hotels are terribly expensive. So are youth hostels,
but then the prices are those of youth hostels, and they provide
excellent quality.

Moreover I have the experience of the youth hostel in Lucerne, I was
there for 2 nights in the summer 2005 with my motorbike when there
were catastrophic rains all over Switzerland, and it is not so bad a
remembering as it could be.

Google Jugendherberge Luzern or go to http://www.youthhostel.ch/ and
everything is also explained in english.

If I can come I think that I will stay there.

That cannot be right.

Do a booking search from http://hotels.luzern.com for a triple room, and
you get CHF160 per night for the *room* including breakfast.
Going through to the booking, including city tax for two days that comes
to a total of CHF330.50 for three people and breakfast.

See http://tfs.firshman.co.uk/temp/villamaria01.png .

That looks OK to me. Do you want to join in a three bed room?

www.luzern.com will at least give you some idea of the facilities, and
