Dave, well, the Intel bits were just about as american-made as the Motorola (RIP) bits. Still they were quite a lot smaller ;) But maybe we should solve that one - The poor guy 8749 _really_ was an 8-bit processor. And not the worst that Intel ever built.The successors are still around in the embedded industry. If in doubt, pick 8 of those: http://www.bitburger.de/produkte/bitburger-premium-pils/ (Really large, German-made bits) (Beware: Processing 32 of those bits is probably dangerous for your health. Tobias, are you suggesting that American-made bits are like American measurements? The US gallon and pint are much smaller than the gallon and pint recognized by the rest of the world!
