That is quite amazing, a bug found out by a Greek QL user who was using an old
Spectrum emulator, reported to the Italian author and solved in German by the
author of a QL emulator for Windows... everything in less than 24h!!

Ciao

OK, fixed it, small bug in emulation I seem to have introduced in the
last release (ABCD[M] commands, which are so seldom used that it went
unnoticed for halve a year...). Tell him to wait for v3.31, I'll
release it soon.

Davide,
would you mind forwarding to me the greek user's email via private email?
I hunt the greek users down so I can get them organised :-)

[ql-users] QPC2 v3.30 and Spectrum Emulators

2005-08-14 Thread Davide Santachiara
Dear Marcel (and everybody in the list),

I have received an interesting email from a Greek QL user. He says:

--8<-8<---8<--
I am a registered user of Zm128 emulator on Ql I want to ask you if it
is incompatible with QPC2 v 3.30 because I tries the simple program
10 for i=1 to 10
20 print i
30 next i

and it gives

1
1
1
1
1
--8<-8<---8<--

So I made the same test with ZeXcel and I have verified that the above Basic
program works OK with QPC2 v3.23 (both in 48k and 128k mode) but it does not
work anymore with QPC2 v3.30. I wonder which have been the changes in QPC
3.30 that could have caused this funny behaviour in our ZX emulator.

Ciao

Davide
