[qmailtoaster] Coding of qmailadmin to UTF-8
I found the the default coding of qmailadmin is using ISO-8859-1 but the admin-toaster is using UTF-8. Can I make qmailadmin and all web admin page to be UTF-8? [qmailtoaster] daily.inc of Clamav make error of UpdateSaneSecurity
I found that there is a mail to my admin account with the following message about hourly cron job /etc/cron.hourly/UpdateSaneSecurity.sh: /usr/share/clamav/daily.inc is missing! Either /usr/share/clamav is NOT The correct database path or there is something wrong with your ClamAV installation. This path came from your /usr/bin/clamscan so I would guess you need to check your clamd.conf file! and/or /usr/share/clamav EXITING NOW!! When I try to using a command freshclam -v Current working dir is /usr/share/clamav Max retries == 3 ClamAV update process started at Fri Sep 26 19:13:47 2008 Using IPv6 aware code Querying current.cvd.clamav.net TTL: 378 Software version from DNS: 0.94 main.cvd version from DNS: 48 main.cld is up to date (version: 48, sigs: 399264, f-level: 35, builder: sven) daily.cvd version from DNS: 8343 daily.cld is up to date (version: 8343, sigs: 35556, f-level: 35, builder: arnaud) It showing that the file daily.inc was replaced by using daily.cld . Hi, I did the original patch for the toaster but I don't use QMT ISO. But I bealive you can get the source for qmail-toaster and the path, compile it and replace the QMT ISO package by the new one... Is this correct Jake? Yes. QMTISO is just a CentOS install with Qmailtoaster installed for you automatically. You can download the source and recompile at any time you'd like, just like a manual install.

Thanks AM. I search it for a long time on mail-archive by using empf and I cannot find it. I saw on wiki that you have a patch for 1.3.15 and no need for me to compile. So I searched it on mail-archive and I cannot find it. The patch is locate at a mail talking about vqadmin. I think it would be better to make a like directly on the wiki or consider to include it on new version of qmailtoaster download script. When I try to install roundcube by using qtp-menu, everything fine without error. However, when I try to access the roundcube by web, a error occured DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED! I cannot ping and connect the QT server by using internal IP 192.168.1.x, but I can access by using the domain and fixed external IP. I have check that is not the firewall problem. Currently mail with a score of 5 - 11.9 gets the subject rewritten to ***SPAM*** and sent to the receiver. 12 and up gets rejected at the smtp server, and the sending smtp server is responsible for generating an error message to the sender (or in the case of the spammer, move on to the next victim). Because when the qmailtoaster send the notification to the sender I found that every sender of the spam are nonexistent mailboxes, these will waste bandwidth at certain number notifications sent by the qmailtoaster. Which is why the QmailToaster doesn't do this. [qmailtoaster] Mail stuck for some domain occasionally
Dear Sir, My toaster was fresh installed and using djbdns. I have reinstall it many time and still got a problem about sending mail to a domain. Sometime I send a mail to this domain and got the mail from this domain very fast but sometime the mail stuck in the queue for a very long time. Other domain such as yahoo.com, hotmail.com, gmail.com are no this problem. Anyone can tell me why? When I click into General (not domain name) in Isoqlog page, and click into year month date page. In the table of Top 100 sender and Top 100 size, I lot of unknow email account show in the table. I had using the guide of www.qmailrocks.org to set up a server before using qmailtoaster . I found that a tool call qmailanalog work together with qlogtool are very useful. It will perform some basic log analysis on those qmail log files and then output them to a desired location and email to the admin. The report will show the statistic daily, weekly, monthly.. of how much email out, email in, spam mail, virus mail, drop mail,.. I want to know that is there any program like this can be used on qmailtoaster? I have setup a toaster without installing DNS server. Only install djbdns. I try to install domainkeys and found that I cannot found a directory tinydns/root/data Should I make a domainkeys without installing DNS server and how? [qmailtoaster] Squirrelmail language problem
I have setup a qmail toaster using the newest packages. Everything find but squirrelmail got the following problem. After I setup the *Options - Display Preferences to other language out of default (english) such as Chinese Trad or Sim. Chinese. and click into any folder INBOX, DRAFT which contain mail, a error message was issue: **ERROR: Could not complete request.* Query: SORT (ARRIVAL) BIG5 ALL Reason Given: BIG5 character set is not supported. or *ERROR: Could not complete request.* Query: SORT (ARRIVAL) ISO-8859-15 ALL Reason Given: ISO-8859-15 character set is not supported. or *ERROR: Could not complete request.* ??: SORT (ARRIVAL) GB2312 ALL Reason Given: GB2312 character set is not supported. If I set the language to default or clear the mail box, everything go fine. So, I cannot access the mail box which contain mail when I set the language out of default / english. I have reinstall the toaster many time with default setting without any modification of the setting. Is the a bug? Our Domain name is host by other supplier and they host our website. They point the mx record to our mail server with fix ip. We only need to use their DNS by only fill in our mail server. Most likely what your issue is that it defaults to displaying in color and you are viewing on a black and white. When you run the config, hit the letter "c", this will turn the color off and then you can see everything. How can I config. the squirrel webmail such as adding plugin...
