Hi all, This weekend i installed QMT on a new server (fedora 11 64) and i have exactly the same problem ( http://www.mail-archive.com/qmailtoaster-list@qmailtoaster.com/msg24918.html ) Here is what i modified in QMT after install : - I changed the soft memory limit to 12800 (instead of 4800) in supervise/pop3/run, supervise/smtp/run (if not, it does not work (out of memory)) - spfbehavior : 3 to 1 Sending/receiving mails : OK. After activating the responder in QmailAdmin, my mail box receive mails people sends to me but the responder message is stuck in queue. In send log i have this : delivery 1: deferral: vdelivermail:_deferred,_database_down/ If i do a queue_repair.py, it find this : checking split locations... queue/mess/20/263968 ownership 7794:89, should be qmailq:qmail Do you have an idea about what could be wrong in my configuration ? Whichever it is, please test the other and see if it's just a problem with one or the other or both. If i do a queue_repair.py, it find this : checking split locations... queue/mess/20/263968 ownership 7794:89, should be qmailq:qmail I'm not sure about this warning, but I suspect that it can be ignored. It's complaining about the group id, which I don't think really matters here. 89 is vchkpw, which is probably correct for QMT. The queue_repair.py tool hasn't been tailored at all for QMT that I'm aware of. Do you have an idea about what could be wrong in my configuration ? Eric Shubert a écrit : It's peculiar to me that qmail-send (vdelivermail actually) has no problem with typical emails, yet it gets the vdelivermail:_deferred,_database_down message for messages from the autoresponder. I think you should post this problem on the vpopmail users list, and see what Matt has to say about it. This is the only change in it from the stock package. Download (wget) it into /usr/src/qtp-upgrade/SRPMS/ (don't forget to remove the existing package there first), then run qtp-newmodel and have it rebuild the qmail-toaster package. That'll fix you up. Jake, please refresh my memory. Why is it that this '/' character hasn't been added to the stock package? It's becoming a real PITA for me as well as others. ;) It's going to be in the next release. I've patched it in a while back, but have not wanted to make a new release for a minor update. Since I'm working on adding Mandriva 2010 and Fedora 12 support, when that update comes out (soon!) it will include the / character. I find a solution (if i can call this a solution). I revalidate the blackberry email on the ISP website and by this way it change the sender address. Now there is no '/' in it so it works. Anyway, thanks for the help. With autorespond, it's seems my qmail toaster is not working properly (no logs of clamd and spamd) so i think i will uninstall qmail toaster and reinstall it carefully. So i'm asking you the good way to do it without loosing emails, domains and users. If i do : rpm -e `rpm -qa | grep -toaster` And then reinstall qmt, will it delete emails, domains and users or will everything remains ok ? Or do i have to doa qtp-backup and qtp-restore ?
