[qmailtoaster] What file do I modify for inbound SMTP traffic?
I need to setup my qmail toaster so that it only accepts inbound SMTP traffic from a certain Network and Subnet. What file do I modify for this and what is the syntax does it need? Re: [qmailtoaster] How to config squirrel
As I know that I can run config.pl to config the squirrel. When I run the configuration program, I see all the config in the setup page are blank. Most likely what your issue is that it defaults to displaying in color and you are viewing on a black and white. When you run the config, hit the letter c, this will turn the color off and then you can see everything. How can I config. the squirrel webmail such as adding plugin... [qmailtoaster] Fedora 5 help
I am trying to setup the lastest QmailToaster on Fedora 5. My issue is that in the deps script it removes the libtool-ltdl however in removing this it will then mess up GNOME desktop, it removes a few rpm's that GNOME needs. But the courier-authlib-toaster will not install with the libtool-ltdl installed. Is there any kind of work around so that I can install the courier-authlib and also have access to GNOME? Re: [qmailtoaster] Fedora 5 help
Erik, Yes I do agree that a mail server shouldn't have a desktop, but sometimes it is easier to do things in the GUI instead of the CLI. Well I guess I will just have to live without GNOME. Thanks for all your help. Ron Hello Ron, The system is not meant to run on a desktop with Gnome installed.Your best bet is to use VMware Player for the QmailToaster, You may be able to get away with installing courier-authlib-toaster with '--force --nodeps' and see if that allows you to have both installed. [qmailtoaster] Multiple Email Servers
I have a problem which really doesn't have to do with Qmail Toaster, but I was hoping someone on the list may be able to help me with this. I already have Qmail Toaster up and running just fine. I have it running with two domains already(using the virtual domains). However I want to add a 3rd domain, but do not want to run it on the current Qmail Toaster machine. I want to run it on its own machine. Here is what I currently have: 1. DSL with a 1 static IP address using PPPoe to connect to the ISP. 2. DSL Router that forwards the mail ports to the active Qmail Server. According to my DSL provider, I can get multiple IP address, but due to the fact that I connect with PPPoe I can only have 1 router that authenticates. So in reality Multiple Static IP's won't do me any good, true? Now one thing I have tried to find was a Router that allows multiple DMZ, but haven't found any. I do not want to have the second server use non standard ports. I hope this all makes sense. Does anyone have any idea's on how I could make this work with either one static ip or with a router that allows multiple DMZ zones? Re: [qmailtoaster] Change admin password
I am having the same issue. I change the password on the first page, but it does not update it. Besides using the CLI, anyone else figure out why this is happening?? Thanks, Ron On Tuesday 20 December 2005 12:58 am, Joseph Lundgren wrote: Fajar, Your Web-Browser (FireFox, is my bet) is probably the culprit here. It's asking you whether you want to update the web-browser's built-in password manager for the website you're visiting, with the username 'admin' and the password you're changing. At least, that's what it looks like to me. Thanks Joseph, looks like it is Firefox weirdness. But when I use Konqueror, I still cannot change the password. It looks successful, but the password isn't changed. Re: [qmailtoaster] simscan help
The issue is that for some reason the install created a directory called bayes under the .spammassissin directory. You need to delete the directory and then create a file called bayes. touch bayes Then do as Jake suggests. Richardus Alim wrote: Hi Robert.. Thx a lot! it's working smoothly after follow your advice but I've 1 problem left and it was already issued in mailing-list in my /var/log/qmail/spamd/current there's error say: warn: config: SpamAssassin failed to parse line, /root/.spamassassin/bayes is not valid for bayes_path, skipping: bayes_path /root/.spamassassin/bayes I've reinstalled spamassassin but still the same I've checked the directory path and it's there /root/.spamassassin/bayes Any advice ? chmod 600 the files in there, and make sure /root has chmod a+x applied - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[qmailtoaster] Spamassassin Error
I accidentally moved the /root/.spamassassin directory to my trash. Hovever I copied it back. Now when I run: spamassassin -D --lint I get the following warning: warn: config: SpamAssassin failed to parse line, /root/.spamassassin/bayes is not valid for bayes_path, skipping: bayes_path /root/.spamassassin/bayes My question is I think it restored ok, however I am wondering what the permissions should be? Right the .spamassassin and all other directories and files under it are root:root. Is this correct? This is a new install on FC4. Re: [qmailtoaster] Toaster on FC4 issue
Nick, Great that did it.. Couple of things. One I did it using the 32bit not the 64. Also, you may want to change the: edit current-install-script.sh and set DISTRO=cnt40 to: edit current-install-script.sh and set DISTRO=fdr40 So it doesn't confuse anyone. Isn't this correct? Thanks... I have just installed the toaster on FC4. Everything is just fine until I get to where I need to create the Self signed certificate. First the directory /usr/share/ssl/certs/ does not exist on FC4. Can anyone tell me where to find this so I can do the make stunnel.pem Also is there any other issues anyone has come across running it on FC4? I can not run CentOS 4, like I wanted too, due to the fact it has an issue while running as a Guest under Vmware GSX...
