[qmailtoaster] Problem moving spam into spam user folder
Some time ago, my qmail-toaster box were configured to move spam detected messages into users spam folder. When I upgraded qmail toaster, I lost this function and I don't remember where I configured that. Anybody could help me saying how I configure this? I want all e-mail marked as spam were moved into user spam folder. Thx -- Samuel Díaz García Director Gerente ArcosCom Wireless, S.L.L. [qmailtoaster] Too time for learn spam/ham messages
I have another problem: 1) I configure qmail-toaster box to use Jake's rules and RulesDuJour's rules (appears to be working fine and upgrading everydays). 2) I have SpamButtons squirrelmail plug-in configured. 3) The rearning process takes too many time (this is the problem). I tried to disable RulesDuJour and Jake's rules, but not appears to solve the problem. I detected too CPU when a client uses spam buttons (no spam button too) from squirrelmail interface. Any help? Re: [qmailtoaster] Problem moving spam into spam user folder
Q: I upgraded my QmailToaster to the latest and I no longer have the Spam Detection box in Qmailadmin. A: This feature was removed because it conflicts with overquota notification. It is not currently expected to come back. That is the problem? Any workaround about it? Re: [qmailtoaster] Too time for learn spam/ham messages
The problems are: 1) Too CPU consumption (sa-learn) in the server. 2) Too time waiting the server response after I push spam or no spam button in squirrelmail webmail. To report as spam one e-mail, I have to wait from 15 to 90 seconds, I think it is too time. After the upgrade, I have to wait that time when I push one of those buttons with 20 messages checked. That is the problem. Thanks P.D.: Sorry for my english. Where I put the --rebuild option to sa-learn? The --no-rebuild I know where, but I don't know the rebuild. In a cron process? Something like: #!/bin/bash sa-learn --rebuild ?? I just did a test on my machine (2.4G P4, 512M) and it took about 9 seconds to process 2 spam messages using the following command: /usr/bin/sa-learn --spam /home/vpopmail/domains/v2gnu.com/jake/Maildir/.Spam/new/* This could be a little time consuming if you were processing dozens of messages. Is it feasible to process the spam messages during a time when the machine is not needed much? Mine processes the spam at 1am, but I'm not running the Squirrelmail plugin, either.
Yes, this issues began when I updated to the FC5 ready toaster packages. Before, I was using the FC4 with wome patches I send to this list and all toaster components where working fine, but after that, some clamav/squirrelmail security problems appeared, forced to me to update the packages. I don't say that where a problem in my configuration files, only that after this upgrade, perhaps I forgot to configure any file or there are any problem whith the install procedures (or any file where overwriten or I don't know what!). [qmailtoaster] Many bounces? Please help!
Hi, I'm having a terrible problem in my e-mail server. Appears that it is sending too many bounces. I don't know how to configure/disable this. The fact is that many mailman managed lists are sending to the mail boxes messages about account disables because many bounces receibed. The problem appeared (I think) when I upgraded the qmail-toaster version to the last and I put the multipath wan routing working, before that, all were working. Perhaps this could be a problem (or not), but I have the qmail-toaster server into my gw/dns/firewall/...(and more) server. I have implemented multipath route, and perhaps this could be the problem (perhaps the mail where received from one IP and answered from another IP) the two wan interfaces. In my DNS settings, I have one as MX 10 and the second as MX 20 (2 more MX records for only queue servers that retain mails when principal server goes down for maintenance reboots or something similar). Please could anybody help me ?! Regards -- Samuel Díaz García ArcosCom Wireless, S.L.L. Re: [qmailtoaster] Fedora Core 5 installation issues
Thanks Mark, when receibed your e-mail the issue where solved. The packages with problems encountered where: 1) qmail-toaster 2) ezmlm-toaster The first where solved commenting the declaration of strerror function. The second, changing the cc config in the spec file, putting gcc instead of gcc32. Perhaps this help to upgrade the packages and allow them to compile and install correctly in FC5. Thanks again. I upgraded from a FC4 distro, but before the upgrade process I had to uninstall qmail-toaster packages, and now, I'm having problems installing over a FC5 distro. I can install, without apparent problems: daemontools ucspi-tcp vpopmail But when I try qmail, there are too many errors (see at the end of e-mail). The problem appears to be 2: 1) Error in headers (not found or incorrect). 2) Error in libs (not found or incorrect).
