[qmailtoaster] Problem moving spam into spam user folder

2006-08-07 Thread Samuel Díaz García
Some time ago, my qmail-toaster box were configured to move spam
detected messages into users spam folder.

When I upgraded qmail toaster, I lost this function and I don't remember
where I configured that.

Anybody could help me saying how I configure this?

I want all e-mail marked as spam were moved into user spam folder.

Thx

[qmailtoaster] Too time for learn spam/ham messages

2006-08-07 Thread Samuel Díaz García

I have another problem:
   1) I configure qmail-toaster box to use Jake's rules and
RulesDuJour's rules (appears to be working fine and upgrading everydays).

   2) I have SpamButtons squirrelmail plug-in configured.
   3) The rearning process takes too many time (this is the problem).

I tried to disable RulesDuJour and Jake's rules, but not appears to
solve the problem.

I detected too CPU when a client uses spam buttons (no spam button
too) from squirrelmail interface.

Any help?

Thanks

Q: I upgraded my QmailToaster to the latest and I no longer have the
Spam Detection box in Qmailadmin.

A: This feature was removed because it conflicts with overquota
notification. It is not currently expected to come back.

That is the problem? Any workaround about it?

Thx

Re: [qmailtoaster] Too time for learn spam/ham messages

2006-08-07 Thread Samuel Díaz García

The problems are:
   1) Too CPU consumption (sa-learn) in the server.
   2) Too time waiting the server response after I push spam or no
spam button in squirrelmail webmail.

To report as spam one e-mail, I have to wait from 15 to 90 seconds, I
think it is too time. After the upgrade, I have to wait that time when I
 push one of those buttons with 20 messages checked.

That is the problem.

Thanks

P.D.: Sorry for my english.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you're asking. Is it taking too long
to teach it what spam is? Or a message is taking too long to be scanned
by spamassassin?

Sorry for the questions, but:

Where is that .qmail file? I need 1 .qmail file for all users? or 1 per

Any suggestion about that maildrop script? Has anyone any example that

you can configure a .qmail file that uses a maildrop script for parsing
headers and do the trick.

Where I put the --rebuild option to sa-learn?

Something like:

??

Thanks

That is a little slow. I just did a test on my machine (2.4G P4, 512M)
and it took about 9 seconds to process 2 spam messages using the
following command:
/usr/bin/sa-learn --spam
/home/vpopmail/domains/v2gnu.com/jake/Maildir/.Spam/new/*
This could be a little time consuming if you were processing dozens of
messages. Is it feasible to process the spam messages during a time
when the machine is not needed much? Mine processes the spam at 1am,
but I'm not running the Squirrelmail plugin, either.

The database is being rebuilt after each message is processed (very
inefficient).

Add the --no-rebuild option to the sa-learn command, then add
sa-learn --rebuild
afterwards to rebuild the database.

I can't view --no-rebuild or --rebuild parameter in sa-learn --help.
Perhaps --no-sync and --sync better?

usuario=`echo ${linea} | cut -d , -f 1`;
clave=`echo ${linea} | cut -d , -f 2`;
nombre=`echo ${linea} | cut -d , -f 3`;

if [ $dominio ==  ]; then
   /home/vpopmail/bin/vadduser ${usuario} ${clave}
else
   /home/vpopmail/bin/vadduser [EMAIL PROTECTED] ${clave}
fi;

if [ $dominio ==  ]; then
   /home/vpopmail/bin/vadduser ${usuario} ${clave} -c
${nombre}
else
   /home/vpopmail/bin/vadduser [EMAIL PROTECTED] ${clave} -c
${nombre}
fi;

man cut
ó
cut --help

Salu2

Suggestions:
   a) Make /etc/courier directory backup too.
   b) Allow --target $ARCH into all rpmbuild commands (for example,
when I can, I compile into i686 platform, not 386, I only use 386 for
compiled packages, but manually compiled, I prefer optimize it.

   c) Separate download process, build, install process.
   d) Test if the package is downloaded yet (I don't want to download
again when I aborted an ungrade process.

   e) Allow distro, arch, etc... parameters.

Again: ¡¡THANKS!!

Re: [qmailtoaster] Non existent recipients reject

CHKUSER accepted rcpt: from [EMAIL PROTECTED]:: remote
yzddpw:unknown:212.49.94.204 rcpt [EMAIL PROTECTED] : found existing
recipient

Yes, this issues began when I updated to the FC5 ready toaster packages.

Before, I was using the FC4 with wome patches I send to this list and all
toaster components where working fine, but after that, some
clamav/squirrelmail security problems appeared, forced to me to update the
packages.

I don't say that where a problem in my configuration files, only that
after this upgrade, perhaps I forgot to configure any file or there are
any problem whith the install procedures (or any file where overwriten or
I don't know what!).

Any help?

I have enought space available, that isn't the problem.

Perhaps permissions. ¿What files you need to see owner/group? ¿What
directory? There's no problem to put here the ls -l output.

 I had a very similar problem last week myself. I had filled up my /var
 partition to 100%, so any emails with attachments were not going
 through. It still had about 100M of space, so regular emails went through.
 It says unable to read configuration. Did this setup work before, and if
 so, what changed? I also would like to see the permissions/ownership of
 your config files if you don't mind.

 Perhaps permissions. ¿What files you need to see owner/group? ¿What
 directory? There's no problem to put here the ls -l output.

 Let's see the list for /var/qmail/control as well as
 /home/vpopmail/domains/yourdomain.com
 And it wouldn't hurt to throw in /var/qmail/supervise/smtp and
 /var/qmail/log/smtp/current (permissions)
 Thanks.

Yes, y stoped qmail before upgrade, etc

All upgrade process where fine, all proccess are running plus smtp-ssl
configured (pop3-ssl and imap-ssl too).

And yes, server has been rebooted (kernel upgrades and so on) after the
qmail update.

Thanks

 Did you stop qmail before installing the new packages? I know you also
 had to remove spamassassin before installing the new version, and maybe
 for maildrop as well.
 I'm sure you've done so, but have you rebooted since upgrading? What
 does qmailctl stat show?

[qmailtoaster] Many bounces? Please help!

2006-06-07 Thread Samuel Díaz García
Hi, I'm having a terrible problem in my e-mail server. Appears that it is
sending too many bounces.

I don't know how to configure/disable this. The fact is that many mailman
managed lists are sending to the mail boxes messages about account
disables because many bounces receibed.

The problem appeared (I think) when I upgraded the qmail-toaster version
to the last and I put the multipath wan routing working, before that, all
were working.

Perhaps this could be a problem (or not), but I have the qmail-toaster
server into my gw/dns/firewall/...(and more) server. I have implemented
multipath route, and perhaps this could be the problem (perhaps the mail
where received from one IP and answered from another IP) the two wan
interfaces.

In my DNS settings, I have one as MX 10 and the second as MX 20 (2 more MX
records for only queue servers that retain mails when principal server
goes down for maintenance reboots or something similar).

Please could anybody help me ?!

Regards

[qmailtoaster] client + server certificates

2006-05-25 Thread Samuel Díaz García

Hi, I'm trying to configure pop3s, imaps and smtps.

I think it's not configured fine, and that is the reason I ask.

I wan't pop3s, imaps and smtps servers verify the client certificate to
authenticate the clients, and I wan't clients authenticate server.

I need help specially with /etc/courier/pop3d-ssl config file (imapd-ssl
is analogous) and with smtp config files (don't remember now how I had
this to work).

Thanks

[qmailtoaster] Help with secure SMTP

2006-04-06 Thread Samuel Díaz García

Hi guys, I'm configuring a secure SMTP with qmail-toaster under FC5.
I'm not an expert with qmail, but I had been successfully configured
POP3S with user certs without many problems.

I want users needs their certs to allow smtp connections and cipher the
transfers.

Any idea?

With some links I you can help me a lot.

Thanks

Re: [qmailtoaster] Fedora Core 5 installation issues

2006-04-03 Thread Samuel Díaz García

Thanks Mark, when receibed your e-mail the issue where solved.

The packages with problems encountered where:
   1) qmail-toaster
   2) ezmlm-toaster

The first where solved commenting the declaration of strerror function.
The second, changing the cc config in the spec file, putting gcc instead
of gcc32.

Perhaps this help to upgrade the packages and allow them to compile and
install correctly in FC5.

Thanks again.

I upgraded from a FC4 distro, but before the upgrade process I had to
uninstall qmail-toaster packages, and now, I'm having problems
installing over a FC5 distro.

I can install, without apparent problems:

daemontools
ucspi-tcp
vpopmail

But when I try qmail, there are too many errors (see at the end of e-mail).

The problem appears to be 2:
1) Error in headers (not found or incorrect).
2) Error in libs (not found or incorrect).

I had installed compat packages:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] qtms-install]# yum list | grep compat
compat-gcc-32.i386   3.2.3-55.fc5   installed
compat-gcc-32-c++.i386   3.2.3-55.fc5   installed
compat-libstdc++-33.i386 3.2.3-55.fc5   installed

Please, please, please, any help. I need to reinstall the qmail and
after the upgrade, the downgrade is not posible for this server.

Thanks
