I have created a VM on Esxi 5.0,
Installed Centos 6 usinig the 6.2 ISO
Installed base server
installed qmail-toaster using your script, QMT-CentOS6.sh downloaded
from the mirror link in theqmailtoaster-l...@qmailtoaster.com

Everything installed , no errors show, cool.

I can create domains and users same as normal , I created a script to do
that as we have a lot of domains and user accounts also.

On testing webmail ( squirrelmail )http:\\mydomamain.com\webmail\

all i get is the forbidden You don't have permission to access/webmail/
on this server, message.

Have you managed to get squirrelmail working on Centos6 ?
I do see squirrelmail installed, maybe it need permissions corrected, or
a sym link ?

So far so good.

That's trivial all right. Which package(s) are involved? If it's just
control-panel-toaster, would someone care to change the sources and
create a new srpm? If someone can identify which files need to be
changed but isn't up to building the rpm, let us know so we can git'r'done.

If this involves vpopmail, qmailadmin and/or vqadmin, we should check to
see if the changes have been done yet upstream. Bharath's presently
working on these updates, so we can include a patch file with the fixes
if the upstream sources are still deficient.

2. qtp-menu said : Your distro is not supported, exiting. ( Package

No updates. COS5 won't reach EOL until 3/31/2017, and is quite stable.
That is the recommended platform at this time.

Is there some sort of urgency about COS6 that I'm missing? There's
nothing in it that I'm aware of which QMT can leverage in any way. I'm

The interest in CentOS 6 is presumably not that it provides new features
that QMT can leverage, but that it provides updated (not to say
up-to-date) versions of some other core software.

For people who are running a dedicated mailserver machine, it's easy
enough to accept that CentOS 5 is the right version to use to support QMT.
However, some people will be running boxes that serve multiple functions -
app/web servers, DNS, mail, DB, etc etc - and they may be looking to
CentOS 6 as a solution to some of their other requirements, and wishing
that QMT could be easily installed on it.
