Hi Eric,
Thanks for your updates. I have updated on COS5 successfully. Could you
please let me know to update on centos 6.5 64 bit steps. I have tried same
as qtp-newmodel does not working on COS6. Thanks in advance

The latest clamav has been promoted to the current repo. This package
is for COS6 hosts. It would work on COS5, but I don't know of anyone
using the newer packages on COS5. If you are, please let us know.

Notice, this release updates the upstream sources, and also changes
clamav to use a regular init file, and the standard system mail
logging which goes to the /var/log/maillog file. This severs clamav's
dependency on daemontools, making things a little more loosely
coupled, and helps to prepare for COS7 and systemd.

If you have any problems, please post them here.
We like to hear of your successes as well. ;)

 Thanks.

The clamav-toaster-0.98.4 release has been available for COS5 for a little
while now. Looks like I neglected to announce that one.

Simply use qtp-newmodel to update that (and any *-toaster package), same
 as before.

The yum update is only for the new (non-toaster) packages. If you're
running *-toaster (legacy) packages, you can't yum update those (for the
most part). You might actually be able to do

# yum update clamav-toaster
IF you have the new repo set up for yum, but I haven't tested that.

Please post your:
# rpm -qa | grep clamav
