[qmailtoaster] open relay
Hey I wanted to verify I am not running an open relay. I asked the question on the Phoenix Linux User's Group list and was given a link that requires I install some software. I thought I better ask here because I'm running Qmail Toaster on CentOS 5.6 and you guys are the experts. I appreciate all your guidance and help! -- Keith Smith Internet Marketing LLC (480) 272-9268 PHP Programming Services Search Engine Optimization

[qmailtoaster] Open relay Problem
Hi ! Another question . I've discovered that my QMAIL is an open relay . This is basically due to a specific setting on my IPCOP firewall which has an addon module that provides antivirus and antispam services . I have to say that I've spent a lot of time trying to configure and set Spamassassin module on Qmailtoaster but the amount of spam mail is always very very high ! Don't ask me why but spamassassin provided by the firewall is much more accurate and that's why I'd like to use it . Copfilter (IPCOP addon ) requires port 25 to be open and the tests I did gave me the confirmation that qmail becomes that way an open relay ... Now..is it possible to tell QMAIL to accept incoming mail only from the IP Address of my IPCOP ? Is this the right way to solve this problem ? As always , thanks in advance Max - QmailToaster hosted by: VR Hosted http://www.vr.org - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
